Bad high - did just cannabis cause this?

Swim had school off today, and took the opportunity to smoke up all day. He started this morning with a friend, but after just two hits Swim's vision started slowly blacking out, so he stopped. After that things for pretty scary, and he was just wondering if this is something to be expected with weed? Swim's friend said that his lips were white and his face was really pale. Swim passed out for a few seconds, but woke up with the help of his friend. Swim's face and arms felt numb, and his hearing seemed masked, as if he was underwater.

He's only gotten high off pot one other time, but it was far more enjoyable than this time. He was wondering if cannabis grown in chemically-enhanced soil has any characteristics? Or if there are any other ways of cannabis tampering that could have these effects?

did you smoke with tobacco? Was there nausea, fever or vomiting followed by a headache?

It could also be a contaminated batch. Whilst most growops grow good cannabis, in Canada government grown cannabis is in a disused copper mine, and for some reason their buds have arsenic on. Definatly not medical grade!

SWiY had a whitey. It happens, more often in the young & inexperienced, although it can happen to anyone regardless. Had SWiY eaten recently? Low blood sugar can be a contributory factor it seems, as can a temporary drop in blood pressure, especially after standing up (orthostatic hypotension) - you know the feeling when you stand up too quickly? Similar sort of thing, only more trippy! Remember that cannabis temporarily raises blood pressure - key word temporarily; after that it drops - if it drops quickly, whitey may ensue.

VJ - any backup for your assertion that some Canadian cannabis contains arsenic? Without it that statement is rumour & scaremongering.

You might want to have your Blood Sugar checked, as not having Diabetes, but perhaps Hyper or Hypoglycemia as these effects are usually related to those issues.
