Metol bluing reaction-anyone tried?
I've read that creating a solution of Metol, I believe it was 1 part Metol to 20 parts water or something like that, will speed up the bluing reaction in helping identify psilocybe mushroom. Has anyone tried this method and found it to work? I searched but only found Metol mentioned in a post that looked like it was just a copy of the source I had read (MAgic Mushrooms of the Pacific Northwest, by Mushroom John).
