Drug mule arrested for alergies.

ISSAQUAH, Wash. -- According to the Washington State Patrol, troopers arrested 26-year-old David Lint of Yakima Tuesday afternoon near Issaquah and discovered 20 pounds of marijuana in his vehicle.

A trooper pulled Lint over after he swerved while blowing his nose on I-90 near Issaquah.

When the trooper spoke to Lint, who had a valid driver’s license, the trooper smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, officers said.

Lint was taken into to custody and a state patrol narcotics dog was alerted immediately and located two large plastic bags in the rear of the vehicle.

Inside the bags were smaller plastic bags that held 20 pounds of marijuana, officers said. Also located in the vehicle was a first aid-style bag with cash and an assortment of pharmaceutical drugs including, Oxycodone, morphine, and hydrocodone.

Lint, who has a criminal record, could now be charged with additional drug charges.
