SWIM can't stop reading crap online with adderall

What does it mean for SWIM when he takes adderall and has a huge thirst for knowledge about everything. He is a really smart person without adderall but he loves to learn with adderall. Is the 30mg xr too much for him or is this just the way amph effects him. Usually smaller doses do the same thing. He feels very calm and cool with this dose nothing speedy.

thats normal effect on some stimulants it makes you active but not just in the recreational sense. Swia herself on some stimulants finds she's cleaning the house a lot even thou its spotless. She goes around making sure everything is in order knifes and forks in the right places in the draw when its opened. everything has to be perfect..

Also she finds she's always changing the way people put cups down and gets irritated when cups or drinkable containers are not placed on the coasters that are meant for them to be placed on!!
Knife and forks also have to be placed on plates after meals in the correct fashion.. failure to do so will always make swia put them in the correct order weather they like it or not.. she has a habit of getting like that on stimulants more so then when she's straight headed.

When swim dreams about taking adderall he often spends all night either talking incessantly online or dreaming about playing world of warcraft and talking incessantly on there, or just reading about amphetamines non stop all night., I beleive they call this stereotyped behavior and it's an effect of amphetamines usually when the dose is too high adhd patients engange in repeating routine behavior over and over

They really should list "Wasting tons of time on unimportant activities" as a side effect of adderall.

Adderall is way different, swim could do calculus for hours on that stuff. On other speed, swim cleans and is very chatty while experiencing a euphora on meth. Adderall doesn't have the same euphora in swim's opinion.

found activities come almost obsessive and repetitive? noticing all that causes anxiety of mine to plus.. use too much and confusion comes of the that anxiety.. wasting time, thinking too fast, changing things around like fear they'll last.. it's all just too fast when overdone, be it by accident or not. using base here in Uk so euphoria comes around every now and again but tolerance came to stay. in social circumstances (such as a large, intoxicated party) things differ.. under this influence

Yeah the anxiety is caused by too much dosing. Adderall will cause obsessing over whatever you are doing, also some confusion but that is also with too much adderall. I could not picture swim in a social situation using adderall. Swim would get too paranoid.

Thats interesting, as swim finds that adderall makes him more social (he gets much more of a desire for social interaction, which can be harmful to his productivity) if anything.

He has never noticed paranoia/anxiety with adderall, even when he does more than he would have liked and is really speedy. Maybe its just him, or its the doses being used...

Well swim was a long term meth user so I think that did something to swim's brain. Any type of speed will take swim back to paranoia. That makes swim not want to even leave the house. Swim does not have much access to adderall so if taken is not much.

Swim used adderall back in highschool but few and far between... it made swim very social... Swim is now perscribed to adderall.... swim does useless shit... and fiddles around all day. Must be on a strict schedule to benefit from adderall when swiy actually has Adhd.... and may swim add that XR suck... and least swim is not a fan... swim is thinking about changing swims medication... any recommendations for switching from 20XR morning dose + 10RR evening dose??? Swim is interested in Concerta and Ritalin... but wonders if swim will withdrawl if swim switches

My lab rat would rate focalin much higher than methylphenidate drugs such as concerta and ritalin if swiy is looking to get away from adderall. The rat also finds that he does useless crap while on adderall even if he has work to do, so he tries to keep it for recreational use and uses focalin when he can get it in order to enhance actual productivity. Keep in mind what works for him may not work for everyone else, but he would rate focalin highly when it comes to letting you focus without tweaking you out so much you can't focus on the right things (what you need to actually do), so it may be worth a look for swiy.

it's making swiy hyperfocused, which can be good... just direct swiy's attention at homework or whatever swiy needs to be doing. just take it early in the day. give swiy 12 hours to be safe on sleeping.

When SWIM eats Adderall he finds that he is very sociable for the first four or five hours of the drug, but as the drug begins to wear off or SWIM decides to re-dose to keep doing - SWIM will find himself not wanting to talk to anyone unless it is over the computer on AiM. He will not even answer the phone.

It goes both ways. Sometimes you will feel like the coolest person in the world and want to talk to everyone. Other times you'd rather be alone spending you're countless hours re-arranging your mp3 collection into different folders for no apparent reason at all.

As for Adderall causing you to become obsessed with useless tasks. SWIM once spent eight straight hours surfing sites such as "pandamovies.com" and "sublimemovies.com" collecting the best 20 second porn movies that he could find. SWIM didn't do this with the intention of jerking off, he just wanted to have the worlds best internet porn collection.

The next day he shook his head and laughed as he deleted 146 mpg movie files from his computer.
