SWIM wonders, if the effects of LSD on a person differ after having experienced DMT in their lives? Is DMT land accessible via LSD?

SWIM hasn't taken LSD for a while, but has been introduced to DMT recently.

To use the Hippie colloquialism from the 1960's: LSD is like being let out of a cage. DMT is like being shot out of the muzzle of an atomic cannon.

Doesn't seem to alter the effects of LSD. Just makes the territory more familiar.

Swim says DMT is a very powerful hallucinogen most similar to Salvia in strength (although nothing compares to DMT). It usually lasts about 5-20 minutes but those 5-20 minutes can seem like years when swiy is in DMT land. It can be smoked, snorted and swim thinks it can also be injected. Smoking it is the most efficient way, although swiy has to vaporize the DMT and then inhale the vapour rather than smoking it like weed. Thanks for the info. Sounds like exactly the sort of thing SWIM would enjoy exploring.

SWIM just wishes he knew a few people who could get hold of that kind of stuff. Mainstream party drugs are easy but how do you find a trusted source for something like DMT?

What swiy could do is learn to extract DMT. Swiy should have a look at this: http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12846. Swim thinks it can't be that hard to extract DMT but he has no experience with this so he can't say. Has swiy ever tried Salvia? Salvia can be found in most local headshops because it's still legal in most areas.

I've heard of Salvia - I remember looking into that a while ago but deciding it wasn't worth getting. Does that have DMT in it then? I'll go read up and find out some more.

Swim says there is no DMT in Salvia. He was just suggesting it because it might be the kind of experience swiy is looking for and it is very easy to find. But this is getting off-topic, if swiy needs any more help pm swim.

Salvia not only has no DMT in it, but it really has very little chemical relation to DMT, other than that they're both powerful, smokable drugs. Salvia's more dissociative while DMT is a visual and otherworldly hallucinogen. If you have no idea what DMT is, you might as well start from the obvious places, such as:

Though SWIM hasn't tried acid yet, he often hears this advice about mixing the intense, brief DMT experience with long-lasting hallucinogens like acid or mushrooms: Do the DMT trip first. Then take your lengthy hallucinogen after you come down. The DMT intro will help you make sense and obtain a clearer, more powerful message from the all-day hallucinogen you choose to follow it with. Do not take DMT while already peaking on another hallucinogen unless you are very experienced, not easily overwhelmed, and really know exactly what you're doing.

SWIM has been reading about DMT all over the net now and is surprised he hasn't heard of it before. The other-worldly effects are just what SWIM likes. SWIM has experienced those on mushrooms and ketamine, as well as through weird meditations. DMT sounds very exciting.

Smoking DMT while on LSD produces some very interesting results. For swim it makes the DMT visuals way brighter, more complex and organic.
