Re: withrawl sucks

Wait it out. I am not envious of you - Opiate withdrawal really fucks with your head.
Now there are 3 options for you, only you know which one would suit you best.
1)The tramadol is putting off the wd's. You can cut it out and all opies and then go into intense sickness. The plus to this method? Recovery can be faster. The negative? It is a hard method when one can refil relatively easily.

2) Use the tramadol to wean down slowly. Lower your dosages by 1/2-1 pill per day once every week. The plus? This takes a while, but the sickness is much less intense. The negative? This one is the one people use to fool themselves into thinking they are improving. It is easy to cheat - There are always excuses.
3) Outside help. Everyone knows this one. There are many avenues.

Well besides WDs's, Tramadol acts upon the Serotonin and Norepinephrine recepts (although weakly) in the brain, which are some of the main chemicals which help with depression. So the Tramadol by itself could possible be causing a chemical inbalance in SWIY's head along with the WD's. By the way, does SWIY mind if SWIdr asks: What opiate(s) were SWIY taking, how much of those opiate(s) were SWIY taking, and how long (ballpark range) was SWIY taking them? WD's can be Hell, but they can vary (in length and strength) depending on what opiate situation SWIY was in. Oh also there are several (legal) substances which caan help SWIY out with WD's like kratom, so SWIY might want to check that out (just be careful NOT to get addicted to kratom in the process, haha).

Re: withdrawl sucks

Swim tryed a product called Psychotropin when swim was trying to come off opiates. It includes a lot of ingredients in the Thomas recipe that should help with the symptoms and its all natural. Goodluck with kicking the opiates and stay strong.
