Experiences - Questions and comments about SWIM's first time with LSD

Right, yesterday when SWIM met his dealer his dealer offered him some acid on top of the pills he was getting. SWIM never planned on doing both that night, but after he overdid it on pills - six, he decided it would be a good idea to try the acid for the first time. SWIM's state when taking this was pretty messed up but didnt have a high anymore. After the Acid took hold the only way SWIM can describe it was weird. He didnt as such trip that much on it, didnt see much with open or closed eyes, infact he tripped more open-eye when just on pills that night. But everything was weird, couldn't really concentrate on anything and didnt like being inside. SWIM's vision was constantly blurry and eyes didn't focus at all, but this was the extent on tripping.

Questions....
SWIM is presuming because of the pills he didnt get the effects of acid, i.e. tripping, he has done ket on a few occasions before and enjoys the trips he has on that, even his k-hole's. Yet on acid he barely tripped.

Was this because of the Pills (ectascy - quite high levels of md), or is acid not going to make me trip in the way i always hoped it would - really just seeing things that weren't there.


SWIM also, after talks with his dealer in the day was told about Orange Juice and how it makes you stop having a bad trip. Last night SWIM made a walk to a petrol station and bought some orange juice and after drinking a tiny bit his vision stablisised completely, he still felt messed up, but could concentrate thought much more easily.

Is the Orange juice thing a placebo or is there a chemical way its been proven to help?

Anyway, suprisingly SWIM would quite like to try Acid again, but on its own so SWIM can see how it works better.

i've always felt that orange juice or anything high in vitamin c will boost the trip.

Regarding the orange juice, that's a myth. Regarding the acid, swiJ just needs a stronger dose. Trying it by itself is a good idea, swim feels this is always the best way to try a new drug, you get the full unadulterated effects plus it's safer.

Seems most LSD sold these days is quite weak compared to what it used to be - and what the reports one is likely to read were based on.

But if one were to get a solid 100mcg dose and take such, with nothing else on board, one would know what LSD was truly about.

swim did the same thing on his first night of lsd, but took the lsd about a half hour after the pills, before he came up properly.
the ecstasy was the same as it always was, but felt very little of the lsd.
after/during comedown, swim and his friends mom went to get some joints. this worked well for the lsd.

at first he was just stoned, but then, while his friends ex girlfriend was rubbing his friends face (for the sweat??)
swim saw the skull of his friends face come through his skin, like when someone rubs a sunburn, kinda.
then it really took hold, and swim could no longer understand anything that was said to him, and when biting at the car mirror(not trying to bite the mirror, just biting while looking at it), his actions had a very laggy appearance

so swims advice is to smoke a joint on the comedown, as repeating the joint experiment while peaked or on the come up just dulled the whole thing, in swims experience anyway...

Cheers for that, its gonna be a few weeks till SWIM can try it again as SWIM isn't overly confident trying this out and about, only at a friends' house or something, so will have to wait for one to pop up.

funnily enough SWIM really felt like a joint at the time, he hadnt smoked weed in about six months because he doesn't usually enjoy it on its own, but really felt like getting a joint, unfortunatly no one had any.

AS for the vitamin C comments i've read lots that it improves trips, and yet SWIM was told it kills them and it pretty much worked, so guess its placebo.

swim usually gets bored at home, and winds up walking around in the suburbs and parks, but try not to look suspicious, as swim has had the cops called by nosy, ''caring'' neighbours.

but, as always, set and setting. dont do it if swiy's not comfortable. swims been pressured into doing it at places where he wasnt comfortable, and it almost always ends up ruining his fun

Thats another question SWIM has actually, does lsd make SWIY look fucked/out-of-it/high/etc.
On pills SWIM gurns a hell of a lot, an pupils are huge, is incredeibly noticably fucked, which is why SWIM won't go for a wander around the local estate on the peak from the pills.

But what about on acid, say if you kept your mouth shut and could walk normally, is there any other way to tell?

walking around on lsd is usually extremly funny but also rather obious . While tripping people tend to stand still from time to time to enjoy the detail of the clouds/walls or other objects. Pupils are extremly big and tripping people usually have a big smile which (although probably unnoticed by people who never used it) also shows they are tripping.

why would swiy want to be somewhere that one had to try to act "normal" anyway? that drains so much good out of a trip.
