Talkative Research chemicals
i was thinking about talkative effect of some drugs and i begin to wonder about research chemicals:
which chemical made SWIY start a flow of words, or at least a bit more talkative? for SWIM that's 5-meo-AMT and AMT. and sometimes MDPV. Methylone made swim euphoric but not that talkative as he thought.too stoned to talk. |

Re: Talkative Research chemicals
2C-D, 2C-T-21, 2C-B-FLY, 5-MEO-DALT, and 2C-TFM, all at lower dosages have been known to facilitate locution.

Re: Talkative Research chemicals
I've seen conflicting reports on 2C-D in regards to parlance. Some people find that dialogue is easier and more flowing, while others have mentioned that it impinges their ability to have a conversation and comprehend oral communication.
Swim unfortunately hasn't had the opportunity to try this substance himself - though he wishes he could - and can't comment on personal experience. |

Re: Talkative Research chemicals
my take on this is that people exploring nootropic realms of 2C-D simply dose too high. 2mg is sufficient, but i can certainly see difficulties in communicating related to higher doses.

Re: Talkative Research chemicals
That's true. I think its largely to the comments in Pihkal, with the 'smart pill' designation from an experience with 10mg. I could see people using that as base of reference for gauging dose, instead starting off lower and working their way up.

Re: Talkative Research chemicals
SWIM has only tried non-psychedelic RC's, but hasn't found anything that made him more talkative. ISE that seems to be more associated with norepinephrine and serotonin, and none of the MDPV-like drugs have any effect on those brain chemicals.
Methylone has some effect on serotonin, but SWIM has not found it a highly pro-social substance (although it certainly isn't antisocial, and effects can be enjoyed by friends/couples and such). It just doesn't encourage cocaine-like babbling sessions, or strong feelings of closeness/intimacy like MDMA. Edit -- OK, now that SWIM thinks about it he's been more talkative than usual on MDPV and similar drugs, it just doesn't happen predictably. There's probably some crossover in the brain to norepinephrine at certain dosages, or when dopamine levels get to some particular point (dopamine and norepinephrine are closely related). Re: Talkative Research chemicals
yeah, i can confirm what you say about MDPV: for SWIM happened only a few times. he was a bit compulsive-talkative. i think he just needed to say something, and MDPV made it to came out faster, stronger as MDPV is.
Methylone, SWIM was too stoned to talk! just like when one is too drunk to stand on feet! AMT and 5-meo-AMT put on SWIM's mind a feeling like: i urge to say something to somebody, but maybe they have also a bad effect on talk memory(can't find words). but i'm not sure about that SWIM is getting curious 2C-D now! i'v never been interested in this one but it cames out its nootropic? wow! |

Re: Talkative Research chemicals
low doses of methylone ( around the 125mg-200mg limit) combined with a little alcohol interestingly enough turned conversations of swim and three other male buddies into intense discussions on sexuality... 3 times in a row...
now they just joke about it...now this is interesting because this bunch is used to talking about sex ( not bragging guy's talk, more curiosity driven, oh so you do that too kind of stuff - you know, in this distant way some males can have, when they're actually often more shy than females to be open about intimate subjects), and has already indulged in euphoric stimulants etc in their past, and not particularly repressed. But the thing about these ongoing M1 conversations were that things said became very interesting, and topics maintained, explored, thoroughly discussed... Swim thinks it's just a verbal side effect of the arousal caused by M1, but wow...three times in a row is odd, it's starting to feel like a discussion group. Of course other subjects were also talked about, most of them actually pretty intimate and deep, relationship, the suicide of a friend's father two weeks ago... very interesting substance for talking in low doses, rather balanced in that it does have a little of the euphoric desinhibition and excitement of say cocaine and alcohol, but one stays focused and not over enthusiastic, and it does have a little of the empathy of MDMA, but doesn't end up in hugs and the overpowering declarations of understanding and universal love that can sometimes happen... maybe it's all in the dosage, but swim must say that so far he finds low doses of M1 pretty unique in its effect on conversation... |
