Oral use - SWIY likes Nitrazepam.. why?

Looking back pretty far through the threads, i cant see much talk about Nitrazepam (Mogadon)...

So for SWIY in the know;

Why do you like it?
Does SWIY use it for medicinal purposes or recreational?
What effects does it have on SWIY?
If SWIY doesn't like it, why?
What dosages does SWIY like to use?
What combinations of drugs has SWIY used with moggies?

Why do you like it?
Because it's one of the few benzo's that makes SWIM feel relaxed and happy without making him very tired. SWIM doesn't feel any euphoria or relaxation with almost all benzo's except for Dormicum(midazolam) and Rohypnol(flunitrazepam), while SWIM does feel it on nitrazepam. To SWIM, it feels very much like phenobarbital, which SWIM also likes. It gives sedation without making him tired.

Does SWIY use it for medicinal purposes or recreational?
Both. Medicinal sometimes when SWIM can't sleep, though SWIM doesn't have a script for them. And recreationally for the euphoric and happy effects it gives SWIM, and to force SWIM too sleep after using a stimulating psychedelic if SWIM has some nitrazepam laying around.

What effects does it have on SWIY?
It makes him feel happy and euphoric, he gets a buzz from it as well, just like a low dose of alcohol, more social and wanting to talk. It also makes him feel a bit sedated, though it doesn't make him tired or sleepy.

If SWIY doesn't like it, why?
SWIM does like it.


What dosages does SWIY like to use?
5 to 10mg

What combinations of drugs has SWIY used with moggies?
None yet, though SWIM thinks some cannabis could be nice with it.

Prescribed for sleeping difficulties, so it's odd it didn't make the 'naut drowsy. It's your body, it's messing it up?

It knocks SWIM out, although he is very infrequent benzo user, and he wakes up groggy. He would only use it when sleep is really needed and nothing better is available (eg. valium/ xanax).

SWIM ingested on 100mg of nitrzepam yesterday night. He felt very relaxed and euphoric after 30 minutes of ingestion.

SWIM is a very introvert person and has trouble sharing thoughts with his closest individuals. Well, nitrazepam made him very friendly with whomever he met yet he was in his complete senses. He didn't do anything stupid or embarrassing which he normally does when overdrunk.

He has done alprazolam in past which knocks him done with no euphoria or relaxation whatsoever. I think benzos act differently depending on individuals.

Today morning when he woke up he was feeling a little groggy. So he popped in two more 10mg pills with pepsi and he is feeling relaxed again. A friend of SWIM who used to do 100mg Nitrazepam every night for 2 years told him that the best effects are in the morning when ingested at night. SWIM doesn't think thats true for him.

I searched for word 'nitrazepam' in drugs forum and read every fucking post related to it so don't worry about the precautions I should take.

I was just a little dissapointed that theres not much discussion about nitrazepam on this forum. I will sincerely request SWIMs who have experiences with nitrazepam to post here because SWIM wants to have some good fun to a limit which shouldn't let him down to hospital and shit like that.

Please do me and every forum user a favour by posting nitrazepam recreatioanl experiences here.

This post is not for me but SWIM. I personally think recreational use of prescription drugs is a dumb thing to do and no one should do it. Play safe and stay away guys.

Just to make it clear SWIM has no depression, anxiety, panic attcks, etc in life. He is a very happy individual. He is doing benzos only and only for recreational purposes and he is totally aware of withdrawl symptoms which his good friends and caring people will take care of. He is on a vacation and likes getting high and thats the only reason he is doing it.

As stated above, SWIM is currently under nitrazepam influence while making this post but that doesn't make him free to break the forum rules. He just hopes mods won't be too hard on him.

Just to add, does smoking tobacco increase/decrease the nitrazepam effetcs? Hashish definitely does increase it. I read somewhere smoking reduces the benzo efect. Just wanted to confirm it

I'd just like to point out that 100mg Nitrazepam is roughly equivalent to 100mg of diazepam, and if taken by a benzodiazepine naive person would likely result in excessive sedation and amnesia.

If combined with other CNS depressants (including alcohol) this could be potentially fatal.

I assume that SWIY has a degree of tolerance to benzodiazepines all time high?

PLEASE be careful when bandying high doses about. This forum is about harm reduction, and I want to stress very firmly that this would be an excessive and potentially dangerous amount of Nitrazepam to take for many people.

I doubt if SWIM is a benzo naive person. He has done a lot of alprazolam in the past (with all the safety measures) which possibly has built a lot of tolerance in him.

SWIM would like to know a thing though. Does amnesia related with benzos cause any irreversible permanent damage to one's memory. SWIM actually likes the idea of doing benzos three days straight and not remember what happened. But he wouldn't want any permanent damage to his brains.

Talking about CNS depressants he has done some 10 mg nitrzepam with a can of beer and he wouldn't even think of going any further because he is aware of the dangers.

I don't quite understand what you are trying to state here. Did you mean that I shouldn't have mentioned what SWIM did with nitrazepam and got away with it without any harm in this forum because people can treat it as an influence and harm themselves?

What I am saying is that if SWIY has tolerance to benzos (because they have used them long term or in high doses), then they should state that that is the case, rather than simply stating that they took X amount, with no qualification.

100mg of nitrazepam to someone with tolerance may not cause problems. 100mg taken by someone with no tolerance almost certainly will.
