Vaporizers - Vaporizer Reccomendations?

if u dont wanna buy one (you can get a good one for 80$!) then do the lightbulb trick

i have not used any real vaperizers but i did make the lightbulb one, its good if ur in a crunch but i personaly found smokeing it to be much more effecint.

I've used the lightbulb method a bunch of times. A couple of days ago I made one with a circuit welder. It worked very well until things started going wrong [I used a couple of plastic and aluminum parts, that's a no no]. But I'm gonna make a new and improved version 2.0 soon. By the way, total cost for version 1.0 was $5, version 2.0 should be as cheap, if not cheaper.

Ok, here's how it works. You wanna heat up the weed without burning it, the best way to do this is by making it touch hot metal. That way the weed gets dried up and releases all the goods, while keeping all the bads.


You need to have it inside a confined space, like a bottle, preferently air tight, so that the fumes don't just leave but stay for your smoking pleasure. Something like a bottle or a big jar will do the trick, a pipe will be necesary for getting the fumes out into your lungs. look it up online there's a few instructions on how to do it.

did u get a high quality one like the volcano? this kid i know bought a vaporizer for about $100 and while it does get u a descent high, its nowhere near smoking it and takes a while to go around.about how much did u guys spend? my friend and i are thinking about throwing down on a volcano (which from what i understand is top of the line, cannabis cup shit) buti dont wanna waste my money if uve had bad experiences, thanks in advance

The best vapors to use are roor vaporizer bongs with a defuser downstem. about $230. Best hitting bong I have ever hit pretty much, along with a red hot stick of glass to burn your weed.

Can you vaporize hash? And do vaporizers waste a lot of THC?

hash does not work very well in vapourizers.when vapourizing you need to make sure your buds are humid by putting a moist humidor in the bag with your buds and leaving for atleast 2hrs then the buds soak up a bit of the moisture from the humidor and then it vapourizes much better.the buds need to slightlymore damp than they would be for smoking for vapourizers to work properly.you need to get a proper vap or its justwaisting time, the cheap ones are pretty usless... I'm gonna agree. If you have a high-quality glass bong, with an ash-
catcher and a diffuser, and your bong holds some ice, you aren't gonna
get a cleaner hit that gets you more high. It's that simple

swim would suggest the volcano its a bit expensive but is the best swims tried yet! also if new to vapo's then the high is a bit different kinda
like eating but not as intense. a ton better than smoking cause your
throat feels great and your high as a coot without wasting weed.

my experiance with vapos sucks this one guy sold me one and i was like awesome then i tried it and it didnt work and fucked up about 40 bucks worth of weed and so i got some weed that i owed him about a month later and put pubes init and rubbed some jizz on it and said it was just crystals and shitthen he smoked and i laughed my ass offf but then i found out i was using the vapo wrong so i felt bad but still they rock man and not a very strong smell

the new generation vaporizors are great. The kind that heat the plant by touching it to something hot suck. The Valcano is definatly worth the money, the vapor tastes like candy! I personally own a vapor brothers unit and love it. It takes some getting used to to figure out how to use it but its definatly worth the investment .5g will get 2-3 people completly rocked. Much easier on the lungs too and the taste is alot better.

OK, Here's what you do. Take a light bulb and a bottle cap from a 2 liter. File out the middle of the light bulb (on the bottom, where you screw it in.) Get all of the black bottom filed out, and then clean it out (white powder is put into light bulbs...this stuff isn't right.) Place the weed in the filed out hole and screw the cap onto the light (make sure the cap has a hole in it first though). Hold the hole on the cap and hold a lighter on the light bulb where the weed is placed, and PRESTO! weed is smoked.

I built a few of the lightbulb ones, they work like a charm for me. I get that thing filled and I'm fairly high off two hits and you can get A LOT if you put a whole dimer in there. That'smy favorite thing to use now. It's portable to so I bring it with me wherever. At first, it tasted horrible but then I found a way to hit it so you don't taste it nor is it hard an the lungs.

Volcano ... take the parts you want, and leave the rest.


Several people have voted FOR the Volcano vaporizer. I, too, agree. The Volcano is the best (simple parts, easy cleaning, doesn't waste any smoke, and works well every time).


The Volcano vaporizer is pretty expensive, though(100s and 100s). But it is actually 2, separate devices: (1) The Volcano (the heat source), and (2) the Valve-Set (which holds the pot).


It is possible (I did it) to just purchase the Valve-Set, and then buy a Heat Gun (a blow-dryer, with a variable termperature control), instead of the expensive Vacano heating unit. The Volcano unit has the exact-same Air Port as a regular heat Gun (so the "fit" is the same, either way).


This Substitution changes the Investment price quite a bit. The Valve-Set is about $125. A competent Heat Gun (like Black and Decker) can be had for $40 or so; I personally paid $100 for mine. I got it because it has a digital temperature read-out on it.


This new combination is as good as the Volcano. I set my Heat Gun down. The hot air flows straight up. I place the (same, Volcano) Valve-Set down on top of the Exhaust Port. The bag fills up with pure resins. Then, the rest of the experience is the same.


Actually, I like the Heat Gun much more. A Heat Gun has a variable fan rate. So, when I want to fill my bag quickly (which is most of the time), I just juice-up the fan a little bit. I can fill my bag in 6 seconds, but the Volcano unit takes up to 30 (the same, but faster).


Also, the Volcano unit doesn't have a temperature display (although it has a numbered dial ... 1 to 9). With my Heat Gun, I can easily adjust the temperature to the precise Strain I am vaporizing at the time.
