The man's 101 years old now, and swip hears rumors that he still enjoys a couple hundred ug of LSD on occasion. (can anyone confirm he was actually under the influence at the after-party cruise last year on his 100th bday?)

Either way, if he still does or not, his creation had huge impacts on soceity and will continue to impact probably forever. Long live the man and the legend of LSD.

Actually, the accidental dosing was april, 16th, and Dr. Hoffman consumed 250 mcg orally on the 19th, which is considered "bicycle day".

It was the 16th in my country when I made this thread (but apparently not on the board). I also realized a few days later that it was just the first dosing, not the bicycle ride. When this thread came up in my subscriptions I was going to fix that since I never got around to it, but you already cleared it up for me. Thread name changed.

Sounds like a scene out of Idiocracy. "Rehabilitation!"

It's a pretty stupid movie, but it has interesting underlying themes nevertheless. It's worthy of a few clicks, some waiting, and then finally some viewing, at the least.
