methadone adiction help

k swim is currently taking 80mls of methadone a day,has done so for the last 18months,previousley swim was addicted to methadone for 5years got clean and stayed clean for 18months but stupidley fell back into bad habits,anyways has any1 got any suggestions how to deal with this now,swim wants to get clean and stay clean

Swim is currently tapering (again) as well.
Swim ordered some kratom to see whether this will give some relieve once she is below 5 mgs of methadone, which she isn't just yet.
Swim has used methadone/heroine for 20+ years so getting off this stuff is getting rather painful for Swim. Do it very, very slowly would be Swims advice anyway, once you go down too quickly the pain/discomfort gets unbearable for this swim and she doesn't succeed. A little valium helps too (not too much though since Swiy wouldn't want another addiction). Good luck!
