Safe to injest alcohol intranasally?
This seems like a really crazy idea so I'll ask for opinions first. After the intiguing stuff about the intra nasal delivery of loperamide. Swim had the idea of using a nasal spray bottle to help since he hated snorting it the first time. Since the loperamide is not very soluble in water but extremely soluble in alcohol he was wondering if he put a bit of vodka in with the water and sprayed it would it destroy anything?

no alfa he dosen want to snort alcohol per-say he wants to dissolve the pill in the alcohol then spray it in his nose.should be safe but concentrated alcohol wont feel good in your nose

Yea thats why he wanted to use just a bit of vodka to make it probably about 10% alcohol

Loperamide is pretty soluble in water.

even if it wasent soulble 10% would be about as iratating as sneezing(i think...)if that.so have fun and post your results

Yeah, SWIdr soesn't have any alcohol/loperamide experience, but it does sound like a bad idea.....ouch
