Depression While on Mushrooms

so swim's dog baxter decided to do some shrooms a few months ago. he told me that he felt really depressed the whole time. it wasnt a bad trip, he just felt really depressed about everything. baxter said its only ever happened on this one batch of shrooms. all the ones hes tried before never made him feel like that. anyone know why?
