There was just a report on local TV news that said a lot about prison population and that overcrowding is a direct result of the WOD.

In the report they refered to the prison population in New York being 80% black mostly from possession. White defendants were reported to be dealt with more lieniently and were sent to diversion programs.

The NAACP is involved, calling the report a blatant example of racism and an outdated policy of the WOD.
