What exactly LSD dose to make you trip it not really known to the full extent, we know that the molocule attaches to you serotonin reseptors, but thats it. at least i think thats right but im not 100% on it.

Actually alot of the effects of ACID or any hall. come from the effects of your cerebellum which sits atop your spinal column in your brain. This is the main place where sensory information comes to the brain and is sorted in a sense.

When on drugs this function stops working the way it should... your body is still sending the signals if touch, taste, sight, smell, and hearing but the Cerebellum messes up where the information goes... thats why you hear people say they can "See sound" or "Feel light" and those things, because the sorting function becomes confused and kinda shuts down, allowing sensory information to go where it shouldn't.

This is why a person can get flash back from a back crack, because when this section of the brain is over stimulated it will bleed, taking with it the drug in your system, bleeding itno your spinal column, and since your spinal column is self contained it is not a part of the body's processing system, so when you crack your back, that stale blood can leak back into your body.... causing small "flashbacks" which in most cases are a small dosing of the drug itself.... It is not really known what causes HPPD (flashbacks), but it sure as shit isn't stale blood or cracking your back.
