Just wondering

I have little daydreams of drugs all the time and have had this come up a few times. If somebody were to do buy some caffeine, pure ephedrine (in canada it does exist) and then maybe extracted some dxm from cough medicine and put a mix ( with a ratio he would decide later) in some gel caps, would some friends accept it as an E replacment. I thought of this because I heard ephedrine and caffeine together have a pretty strong stimulative effect and dxm has pretty good mood-lifting qualities and lower 300mg doses. I realize one would have to take quite a few of these to get an effect. Sound logical or stupid? Worth a try ( by somebody not me)?
