This past summer I took a trip around Europe and stopped by the Netherlands. Before going to Amsterdam I went on a leisurely bike trip through several small towns including Soost, Appeldorn, and several others, (sp questionable) Anyways, after 6 days of biking I was ready to get my smoke on. I arrived in Amsterdam and of course had to visit the bulldog, which I did, the one near that Casino/McDonalds near the Red light district, and several other coffee houses, however my first J in amsterdam was smoked at a nice coffee house near the train station. I now forget the name, go figure, but my friend and I went in and bought a pre rolled J while we were waiting for about an hour for our number to be called to buy a return ticket to Germany so we could fly back home. We started sitting outside with several other happy smokers but were soon shooed inside by a rather aggressive police officer who continually said "No Hash out here" After watching the cop talk to the man behind the counter we sat there and enjoyed our first taste of amsterdam. This pre-rolled was WW I believe, and was very smooth. The tobacco in the J took a little getting used to, since us Yankees were'nt quite used to that kind of thing, but overall it was a pleasant smoke. We walked out of the coffeehouse with smiles on our faces, and went back to sit down in the station to wait to buy our tickets. It was at this point we noticed that several other Americans were sitting in the waiting room, and that infact they too were high. This insited a couple laughs from my friend and I and we went on merrily about our buisness of buying our tickets and settling in for a very relaxing and experimental three days in Amsterdam. Just thought I'd share that story of a very successful first trip to a Coffeehouse.

I didn't like the Bulldog. Too commercial and touristy. And I don't like their staff.

That would be great!

I think it's a good thing that members go out on
feild-trips and report back with their findings.

I can't wait to be writing up some of the reports, considering I should be really stoned

LOL!

That'll work. Hell, if they're not informational at least
they stand to have some entertainment value.

Yes, but you need a permit for a coffeeshop and a working licence for foreigners.
