Re: Time after oxycodone to consume alcohol

Well, this is a somewhat difficult question to answer. If one wanted to be safe, they should wait until the oxycodone completely wore off at least 4-6 hours after consumption (if time seal was broken).

Many people (such as swim) unwisely drink alcohol concurrently with the administration with opiates such as oxycontin. However, Swim believes that if one takes less than their usual amount of opiate intake and a small amount of alcohol (two or three drinks), one would not have much trouble like getting sick or anything. But the best measure to test this out is to try it out yourself; just remember to try SMALL amounts first. It has been said many times before, but it is worth saying again: You can always take more, but you can never take less.

Just Watch out when Mixing Opiates with alcohol. Swim had OD'ed 2 times in his life from Opiates and bolth times it was from mixing Opiates with Alcohol. Swim has learned the hard way that mixing these 2 drugs is not a good idea ????

Re: Time after oxycodone to consume alcohol

Swim has blacked out and has no idea how he got home from combining a few brand name oc lines and a few alcoholic drinks at a party. Swim was also coked out so that may be a factor lol but it doesn't matter, Opiates and alcohol is a combination that has to be taken very seriously. Take into consideration the amount of OC and alcohol SWIY is using and SWIY's tolerance to both. Also be careful if SWIY is taking oxycodone preperations with aceomethphin or something as those drugs can cause serious reactions when combined with any alcohol. 2 Beers and 2 tylenol will knock a person out and could cause liver failure.
