Ok so SWIM has read every single extraction method there is.
Swim has found one that he likes, he has read many procedures on it, and has even watched a video. SWIM needs someone experienced to answer these questions as SWIM isn't sure of this. If SWIM had just recieved 1800 grams of dried/powdered san pedro, and he wanted to try this extraction on a relatively small scale (ie he is only using 1800gm) first and move his way up (maybe 7-8000grams) Swim needs to know--- How much sodium hydroxide would be needed for this much dried material How much xylene would he need for this extraction What is the mescaline supposed to look like (swim has seen pictures where it looks dark brown and pictures of where it looks "off-white") and finally he would like to know an estimate of how much mescaline this can produce. Swim thinks he knows how much HCL acid should be used. Any help or input would be great. SWIM is very new to ths particular extraction and he is VERY eager to learn! Re: . Help me out with this. Experienced chemist/extractioneer!!
Isn't it illegal to extract mescaline in any state? haha. Anyways, the only reason I asked is because the extraction guide on here, that has pics, says a way diferent amount of sodium hydroxide and way more solvent than the extraction methods I have seen/read. So SWIM was just a little confused. Plus swim just spent alot of money on the cactus powder he recieved as well as the equipment he just bought. SWIM just didn't want to mess it up.

Haha.
Yeah you're right, in the US it is illegal to do an extraction in every state. So why post you are trying to break the law? Do you want the forum to be shut down or to incriminate yourself? |

Re: . Help me out with this. Experienced chemist/extractioneer!!
Deekyleeky is not attempting to break the law, he is asking for help with theoretical questions that could possibly help with someone who isn't him.
Please, lets leave issues of legality out of the discourse of this thread. If anything in violation of the rules comes up the moderators will take care of it. Now, back to discussing the theoretical issue posed in this thread... |
