drug test/amphetemines crisis
SWIM took a drug test for a new job and tested postive to amphetemines. When SWIM spoke to the doctor, he asked SWIM if he took any prescription drugs. SWIM remembered that he took his friends adderall the day of the test so he told the doctor he took adderall. The doctor then proceeded to ask if SWIM had the prescription bottle handy, but since it was SWIM's friend bottle, he told the doctor no. The doctor told SWIM to call back within 24 hours with the bottle and he would help SWIM pass the test.
SWIM wants to know if the doctor wants to just verify a code or a name on the bottle and if it is okay for SWIM to just borrow his friends bottle while he makes the call to the doctor. Is there any way for the doctor to find out that the adderall was not in fact prescribed to SWIM, based on information from the bottle?
PS- SWIM's friend lives with SWIM and has no problem letting him borrow the prescription bottle if it is needed.
