How to crush FOCALIN XR?

HEY SWIM wanted to know how to crush the little beads inside of Focalin XR capsulses?

if that is the same thing as adderall XR SWIY should just open the capsule, pour the beads on a hard surface get a credit card and sandwich the hard surface to the card while rubbing the credit card to crush the beads.

If SWIY is dead set on saving his precious Focalin, he can fold a piece of computer paper in half, pouring the little beads into the crease. Place a card without raised numbers on top of the beads, if you like. This achieved, fold the paper over, and crush those beads with a cologne or perfume bottle. SWIM recommends this to be done on a table.

you can also pour the beads into a metal spoon, then take another spoon and put it on top of the one with the beads, push down and it crushes them quite nicely and fast.

how to be a "cutty" 101 classes arein session lol. focalin xr is dex-methylphenidate and swim has had alot of experience with blowing this stuff. as stated above just place the beads under a piece of paper so they dont go rolling all over the place and crush with a metal spoon and if one would want to get it into a really fine powder then take a razo blade and cut it repeatedly over and over again so it goes up nice and smoothly. then cut out a line and enjoy. just make sure not to overdose on the stuff because one will gain atolerance very fast.

p.s. use a cut straw.... that helps. and in order to get a drip close the nostrel swiy didnt use and sniff in hard.

Swim agrees. this method is most effective because you can be sure not to lose any of the tiny beads. pour 'em in a shot glass, break the beads with the back end of a screwdriver or similar tool, (many fit perfect to the bottom of the shot glass), then if the powder is not fine enough, it can be poured onto a flat surface and crushed with a card or anything else, much easier.

a good way to do this is to poor the little balls into a small ceramic bowl and use something with a flat and sturdy side to crush them. but swim is going to attemp the spoon method right now, thanks!

swims quickest way is to credit card them under a dollar bill within secs swim can be pure powder

The credit card method doesn't work too well for SWIM. It requires too much effort and takes a lot longer than some other methods.
SWIM puts the little balls in a shot glass and uses the handle of a screwdriver to grind them into a fine powder.

i keep meaning to get one to crush ephedrine with, in the meantime i used a screwdriver or my metal lighter in an ashtray to crush tablets.

pour the beads into cellaphane(sp)? and crush it with te best tool you have at the time...this is probbaly the best way otherwise you have hundreds of little beads flying everywhere

SWIM pours her Focalin XR into a ceramic bowl and uses
like a tools like the end of a screwdriver and crushes
it...the bowl keeps the little balls from flying everywhere.

SWIM invested in a small stone mortar and pestle a couple months ago and he said its perfect for the job. It cost less than 8 bucks at the local health food store.

When crushing Adderall before, SWIM put it under their driver's license and pressed down with a lighter...voila! Perfectly crushed powder ready to rail! But with time release beads SWIM can see this would present a bigger challenge. She plans on trying the suggested methods posted here.
SWIM just acquired some Focalin XRs today and had to spend hours searching until they found this topic that was just what they were looking for.

One thing SWIM needs to know (and she assumes this is implied, since why else would others want to snort their Focalin XR?)... crushing up the beads (at least somewhat, if not altogether) eliminates/bypasses the time release mechanism, correct? SWIM would rather have that quick rush of euphoria/focus for 4-5 hrs, as she often doesn't need the effects to last 9-12 hrs like most XR things do. I tried a search on this with no avail, so please, you wise experts, answer SWIM's question! SWIM finds adderall euphoric and hopes she is correct in assuming Focalin will be as well. SWIM has read mixed reports, with most stating it is very euphoric. Any and all answers are appreciated, and as this is SWIM's first post on one of these type forums (long time lurker), she hopes she posted this in the correct way, and will not be flamed if she made any errors!
