Entrapment = Un-American
Swim has a real problem respecting or trusting police officers after an incident that occoured a few weeks ago. Swim was waiting on a friend to pick him up to go to a party. When said friend never showed up, swim called his cell phone and an unexpected person answered.
"Hi, this is Tom," the voice on the other end said.
"Who the fuck is Tom?" swim replied.
"Oh i just met your buddy up here at the park and we're drinking, you should come up here."
Swim should of known something was wrong when a stranger answered his friends phone, but he went anyway. When swim got to the park his friend was sitting in the grass with 3 police officers huddled around him. Swim kept driving, but Officer Dick jumped in his squad car and turned on the lights. Swim pulled over. By the way, Swim is 16 and has never had a run in with police. Apparently the cops caught swims friend coming out of the woods at the park with 2 bottles of wine and a 12 pack of Corona. The officer immediately started questioning swim about what they were doing that night, and why his friend had alcohol. When the officer asked to search swims car, he agreed in a panic and because in his youth he didn't know his rights. The officer proceded to take a glass pipe, cigarettes, and dip, from swims car and placed it on the hood. The whole time the cops were joking around, doing stupid things like taking swims tennis racket out of the back seat and swinging it around.
Since swim and his friend were underage, their parents were called. When asked where and when the party they were going to was going to be at, swim refused to say. Aparently blackmail is a new weapon in the police of todays holster. The officer told swim that if he didnt tell where the party was and give the phone number of the host, then swim would be taken to the police station for further questioning. Swim didn't give a shit what they wanted to ask him so he refused again but his parents made him tell the cops. In the end, swim got a ticket for drug parephinalia, and a ticket for underage tobacco possesion. His friend got nothing because the cops couldn't fully prove that the alcohol was his.
So watch out for those "keepers of the peace" who will straight up lie to you to come to the scene of a crime so they can make $200 in tickets.
