Dosage of San Pedro/Peyote

From what I've read, a common dosage of psilocybin is 20mg, while a common dose of mescaline is nearly 10X that at 200mg.

How many grams of peyote/san pedro constitutes 200mg? At a recent outdoor trance festival, a "Natural Ways" tent was selling bags of "San Pedro Incense (warning! not for consumption.) These bags were pretty big and filled with a green powder which I assume was ground san pedro. It looked tough to eat (but then again, I wasn't supposed to eat it )

What does 200mg of mescaline in its pure form look like? Can that be ingested orally, or should SWIM stick to shrooms and their relatively low dosage?

Well, powder I'm guessing. Can mescaline be taken in pure form, totally extracted from the cactus?

A full-on dosage of mescaline is about 400mg.

400mg of mescaline is about 30+ grams of San Pedro cactus, correct? Do users ingest pure mescaline extracted from the cactus, or ingest 30 or so grams of that cactus? Extracted mescaline is a brownish, caked looking material, while edible cactus is green and usually powdered?

To start out, when one does an extraction, they are extracting alkaloids from the cactus, which will include mescaline. The extraction won't be pure mescaline.

For a fresh cactus, some blend it, boil it, and then drink it.

What exactly is your question? If you want to stick to "shrooms", then go ahead. A friend thinks that the mushrooms are stronger, but that he likes mescaline more, even with the nausea.

Someone I know prefer mescaline waaaaaaaaay more than mushrooms. He says mushrooms can turn very dark in certain circumstances, and that there is nothing but love and wonder when tripping on mescaline.
