getting adderall

SWIM is interested in scoring some adderall for the first time in my new location. SWIM goes to college, but doesn't know anyone. Can SWIM get it online? Are there any places to be trusted? Have any members on this forum had first had experience with it? Any other suggestions on how to get some adderall are appreciated too. Thanks.

ordering drugs online without a script is illegal. SWIM's advice would be to ask around at your college, alot of people have it perscribed, know someone who has it perscribed ect.

How does SWIM look for someone who has it? Can SWIM get it prescribed herself? Can someone at the college SWIM goes to help her? Or does she have to go to a doctor?

You make friends, meet people. Are you really in college? Whats kind of question is this. And no, you dont just go see a doc and get adderall, it involves a littler more time and money than that. And yes, getting it online is illegal and damn near impossible. But thats not to say that gettin it from a friend is legal.

First of all it is impossible to find Adderall online, let alone ritalin or other stimulants. If you find a website offering it, it's a scam.

As for finding it, fizzle is absolutely correct. Adderall is quite plentiful where SWIM goes to school, but he has his own prescription for it. Fact is that it's simply a highly demanded drug as it can be considered an "academic steroid" so I would be surprised if SWIY couldn't find anyone with some on a college campus. If SWIY honestly feels like it could help him with his studies, it wouldn't hurt to go visit a psychiatrist. SWIM had initially visited one in order to "fake" ADHD but realized he actually had ADHD when he took the analysis tests and spoke to his psychiatrist. Even if SWIY doesn't have ADHD, and without SWIM being too suggestive, it isn't hard to find out what the symptoms of ADHD are.

The process for getting Adderall can be long or short depending on SWIY's situation. SWIM had to go through his school's office for students with disabilities for the initial assesment and then was referred to a pyschiatrist. The intiail consulation with the pyschiatrist cost $250 and each month's 15 minute visit costs $135, definitely quite the investment, but for SWIM it was necessary and overall net-beneficial to him. Once you finally get diagnosed with the disorder a psychiatrist has a number of drugs at his disposal for treatment, and psychiatrists differ quite vastly in their prescribing practices. SWIM had the benefit of starting on Adderall because his brother had been diagnosed with ADHD and was taking it with much success. Most likely SWIY would have to visit his doctor monthly because Adderall is a schedule II controlled substance and, as far as I know, cannot be prescribed with refills. On the plus side though insurance may very well cover your doctor's costs and the copay on the medication is very cheap ($5 for generic, $40 for name brand, on my plan) regardless of the prescription dosage/amount. For example, SWIM pays a $5 copay for 90 20mg instant release generic Adderall tablets every month, but he also pays his psychiatrist $135. It all comes down to an issue of economics and what choice will maximize SWIY's utility. In other words, if pursing the Dr route, what is more important and worth more to SWIY; ~$150 month in costs or a month's worth of adderall.

Well My Friend SWIM Has A.D.D And She Went To Her Phycologist. She Told Him About Her Older Brother Who Also Has A.D.D and That He Was Just Recently Put On 25 Mg. Of Adderall, And How Much It Helps Him At Work, Or Even Just With Friends. Then She Asked If It Was Alright If She Was Prescribed Adderall For A Month To See If It Would Help Her Pay Attention During Class Or At Work, As Long As It Was Safe For Her Health And Did Not Interfer With Her Other Medications.

The Doctor Went Threw All Of Her Medical History To Make Sure This Was Safe For Her To Take. He Put Her On 15 Mg. Of Adderall For 3 Months, Then Scheduled A Follow Up Apt. To See How She Is Doing And If It Was The Correct Dosage.

Sence Then It Has Been Almost A Year, And She Has Had 2 More Meetings With The Same Phycologist. She Thought The Adderall Really Helped In The Begining, But After About A Month And A Half It Was Not As Effective, The Doctor Raised Her Dosage Up To 25 Mg. She Made A Nother Apt. (the most recent) And He Raised Her Doage Again To 30 Mg.

She Is Very Pleased On How Much Such A Little Pill Can Change For The Better In Her Life.

So If You Belive You Have An A.D.D And Medication Could Help You, I Suggest Seeing A Doctor.

In the U.S..... Psychologists are not MD's and therefore cannot write prescriptions. One would have to be treated by Psychiatrist or an M.D. to be prescribed any medications.

Adderall, although made by a British company (Shire), is not licensed for use in Britain. It may be available off-license from a specialist prescriber if nothing else has worked.

Dexamfetamine, one of the ingredients of Adderall, is still prescribed, although more for the treatment of narcolepsy than ADD/ADHD.

SWIM has never seen adderall available online, not even once. He's seen Ritalin once or twice offered by Indian or Central American pharmacies that not only are likely to send poor quality or fake product, but are usually watched closely by U.S. customs (for some reason, confiscation is apparently not as much a problem in Europe these days, although it happens).

SWIM would recommend not wasting one's time, trouble and money even if SWIY found adderall somewhere -- likelihood is 90% or more that they either won't send anything, will send phony/crappy product, or it will be confiscated by customs. Repeated attempts to import controlled substances runs the risk of legal troubles too.
