First time methadone use ?s

SWIM has come across 2 10 mg methadone tabs. SWIM has never used methadone before, but is experienced with oxycodone and hydrocodone. What advice can you give SWIM on dosage, effects and strength of methadone compared to oxy and hydro, and any other information swim should know, like if effects will be noticeable to others, length of experience, etc. Thanks in advance.

Hello, welcome to the forum.

Methadone is not really comparable to oxy or hydro in my opinion. The effects are much more subtle but last much longer. Swim would take both tablets, but I suggest that swiy take one, then wait around three to four hours before you take the next since I have seen some opiate naive people get sick from 20 mg of methadone. However, this is a small dose, and if swiy is used to taking fair amounts of opiates (40-80 mg of oxycodone), swiy probably will not have any problems taking both tablets. The effects will not be any more noticable to others as any other opiates. Many are disappointed by the effects of methadone, but swim finds it to be very pleasurable. Be prepared to wait a good amount of time for it to kick in, maybe a few hours. The effects last a good 24 hours. Don't mix with alcohol or any other drugs, especially for a first time, and have fun. This is very funny that this thread has come up. SWIM had the exact same question. SWIM is quite experienced with Oxy and his bretheren. SWIM has a few Methadose 10s as well and was looking for some advice. SWIM is going to a casino tomorrow and is excited to have something for the night.

i too am a rookie when it comes to methadone, but swim was wondering if these 10 mgs could be crushed and railed? also, how are the stomach related side effects? should i be prepared to be sick?
