Advice needed re Percs, Fentanyl, Demerol

SWIM has been taking 5mg of Percocet orally every 3 hours for the past 2 years. It is prescribed for SWIM for pain control but SWIM has discovered the recreational aspects of this class of drugs. SWIM is inexperienced in the area of recreational drug use and needs some advice/information. A dose of about 15mg Percoset give SWIM a nice floating experience. Higher doses put him to sleep. SWIM also has at hand Demerol 50mg tabs and Fentanyl patches of 5mg (50mcg/h). SWIM has not used the Demerol at all and is asking what is the best way to use it and are there any dangerous interactions with Percoset. The same question applies to the Fentanyl. All advice and/or opinions as to the best way to use these drugs for SWIM will be appreciated. ALSO SWIM would like to know what are the first symptons he will experience when he is forced to withdraw as this seems to be an inevitablity. Any help you can give inexperienced SWIM will be appreciated.

Re: Advice needed re Percs, Fentanyl, Demerol

Swim has mixed opies in the past with no ill effects. Though one must be careful of dosages in such cases. Demerol is one of the weeker opiates, and by itself swim found that it didnt provide much fun recreationally. He found though that taking 50mg/demerol with 8mg of hydromorphone(dilaudid) was quite a pleasant experience. In swimets case taking 50mg of demerol with 10-15mg of oxycodone should be safe. One can snort the demerol, but it burns like hell. Just eat it.

Swim has never taken fentanyl but knows that, unlike demerol, it is an extremely powerful opiod and extreme care should be taken it if swim plans on using it recreationally. Probably shouldnt mix it with anything else. There is more info about fentanyl on the forum and lots about withdrawls and how to deal with them as well.

Not sure about interactions, but SWIM had a percocet habit himself in the mid 80s when he tried demerol. He actively disliked the latter, made him feel rotten rather than delivering the oxycodone euphoria.
