I was just at my friends house and he found a guy who can get chocolate bars with mushrooms in them. They look like they were made with ice cube trays. They are pretty big, about 20g each (including the chocolate). Anyone have any experience with them?

yes sir, the last 3 trips i had were on chocolate shrooms. about that size as well. all i can say is, i have this poster of a couple gnomes with some shrooms on the ceiling, and the gnomes were plotting evil against me. soon after the walls started coming in at me and trying to eat me. than i went on some sort of mystical journey (that is what my friend said i kept saying) for about 4 hours, and i dont remember any of it...

chocolate bars are how people rip you off. they put less in them then they say and then charge you more. trust me, i know people who do it

Exactly...I had the choclate ice cube tray shaped shrooms...supposedly there was an 1/8 in it, i dont think so...chocolated definitly rip you off....but the ones i had the first time i had one i didnt trip...the next time i had one, i smoked lots of pot with it and tripped hard...no visuals...however i have never had visuals on shrooms

I know folx who make what I would call "professional quality" 'shroom chocolates. You don't even need to eat a whole one to really rock your world. Keeps it smooth and a little easier on the tummy.

yes, do not buyi the pre-made chocolate ones, they are bull shit, if you want some straight up shrooms go grow or pick your own.

im assuming that they did not contain 20grams of mushrooms.most chocolate's contain 1-2 grams. or did you mean the chocolate weighed 20 grams without the shrooms?

i never thought mushroom chocolate's were that rare?at least in grandmas nursing home they float thru town once every few months,about the same schedule acid keeps around here.maybe its just a new england thing?

kblsd i was not implying he got ripped off just that mushroom chocolates are generally sold as 1 dose,IE 1-2ish grams. and while the whole thing may have weighed up to 20 grams or whatnot,that was just the weight of the chocolate.

A FOAF of mine recently found a few "homemade" mushroom chocolates claiming to contain a 1/2 eighth each. He found them in the northern California area and claimed they "were in season" which I take to imply that his contacts had a large quantity.

homemade? those are the only mushrooms/chocolate's you will ever find.i mean there not hard to make.

1.)melt chocolate
2.)add finely ground mushrooms.
3.)pour into some mold/ice cube tray
4.)sell to people at shows.

Though I do not live in the netherlands, my experience there implies an abundance of chocolate-covered mushrooms. It seems most people consuming psilocybin in Amsterdam especially, are consuming either fresh (wet) mushrooms, or in some edible concoction. Cracker-dry mushrooms are only produced in Amsterdam for personal long-term storage and the occasional confused tourist, rarely if ever for economic consumption. The chocolate was usually of high quality, and rather dilute, so a reasonable amount of deliciousness wouldn't result in an unreasonable trip. Locals, tourists, and soldiers on leave, all chose the chocolates over fresh mushrooms. The locals claimed there was no difference, so why deal with the taste? The tourists all agreed an added lipid content would enhance and prolong the experience, and the soldiers just smiled with the joy of experiencing a warmth and beauty that the sand-whipped cold of the afghani desert just doesn't offer. The consensus was consistent however, and the mushroom-chocolate combination was as prevalent, if not more-so, than fresh mushroom consumption.

As for around here, being southern-california, mushrooms are usually imported from slightly farther north, in which case they very commonly, sometimes exclusively, come in chocolates. From down south (mexico) however, stubby Palenque mushrooms, dried and usually partially mutilated are all that find their way across the border, though they have their price/accessibility perks as compared to the expensive/flimsy patterns of domestically imported mushrooms.

swim picked up some at the weekend. Got both Mexican and coloumbian 'strain chocolate'

Both turned out to be exactly what they said on the tin, two totally different trips in the exact style of each mushroom. half a bar seemed to be somewhere in the region of 2g/2.5ish and swim was advised by the sellers one bar is enough for 2 people.

anyway, 2 and a half bars later swim was hearing colours. Very pleased to have had that experiance again.

They are common around Dallas, but as other people said, rip off.


If you REALLY want chocolate shrooms, you can just add them in yourself with one of those $20 make your own chocolate kits.
