Help my nephew with his Exams?

My nephew needs to finish a paper on "Pyschedelics and counter culture years 1950-90" by the end of the month. If anybody could offer advice on what topics to cover he'd very much appreciate it. He's allowed use websites but as he can't join this one becuase he's a minor he has to have me post on his behalf. SO? Help the liitle guy out?

Look into Ginsberg, Timothy Leary, the greatful dead, jerry garcia, ken kesey and the merry pranksters, the barter fair community, the rave and psytrance culture, and the rainbow family, and the shulgans. All of these things should relate to enough knowledge for a paper on psychedelics and counter culter years 1950-90.

I would add R Gordon Wasson, Aldous Huxley, Owsley Stanley, Albert Hoffman, Hunter S Thompson, Alan Watts, John Lily, the Ibiza rave culture, pretty much all of the original beats, the 1969 marijuana shortage that led to the popularization of LSD and RA Wilson. For historical perspective William James might be good to research. To make the paper full you'll probably also want to cover not only the advocates but the reaction to it, in which case I would look into the 1956 Danieals Act, Nixon and the Controlled Substance Act of 1970, the history of the Drug Enforcement Agency, the MK-ULTRA project, CW Sandman, the 1967 banning of LSD, and the 1985 scheduling of MDMA
