Re: Benzodiazepines without prescription: Which Countries?

I should have added that India and Pakistan are roughly similar in their policy; and only one benzo, nimetazepam, is subject to any controls in Malaysia.

Thailand swim got something not sure what but thinks it was xanax from a pharmacy for comming down of yaba. In most of Azia and South America someone wont have a problem, What doesn't go over the counter will go under the counter. Money counts in those places!

Re: Benzodiazepines without prescription: Which Countries?

Its not so easy to obtain benzos OTC in India anymore. Metropolitin cities specially. But no matter where you are in India you can get them in a smaller city which is hardly 50 miles. And they are hell cheaper than in the Stataes or Europe.

SWIM lives in Pune, India and no pharmacy here gives them OTC. Ask them for any benzo and they'll say they don't have it.

SWIM personally gets his stash by luckily finding a pharmacist who gives him anything available in the pharmacy from opioids to benzos for double the price and a promise not to tell anyone. Even double the price is hell cheap though.

Its really difficult for SWIM to find indian trade name of the particular drug though. Google doesn't help. And the pharmacists here have no idea about the drug name. He manages somehow though. Any help with that? I hope that isn't against the forum rules. Finding indian trade name of a particular benzo/opioid i.e.

The international companies are taking over and the brand names are changing from time to time. Like 'Trika' is the latest trade name for alprazolam here, not mentioned. Nitraven has changed to Nitrosun -5,10 (depending on mg) when it comes to Nitrazepam, etc. Diazepam still continues as valium, right at that. Lorazepam is ativan all right. SWIM is still not able to find flunitrazepam and clonazepam's trade names.

www.medindia.net (its not a forum just an information website so i guess nothing wrong with linking it) helps me quite a lot when finding indian trade names.
