I accidently mixed my own piss w/ the clean urine....

I just had a drug screening about an hour ago...I substituted my own urine with my friends (she's clean of course). I stuffed the urine into a condom and then placed it in my vagina...I practiced alot for the past couple of days, made sure that I got it down to last little detail....

So the moment came, I was at the clinic, sitting on the toilet, pricked a hole in the condom and aimed the stream into the cup...and then it happend, I ACCIDENTLY PEED INTO THE CUP. Of course I moved the cup away right when it happend, I don't think much of my own piss got in there, but there's definatly my piss in the the clean urine. The nurse didn't notice anything, thank god!

So, will this affect the result at all? I mean, will they be able to detect that the sample belonged to two different people?

I have known about the drug test for about 3 days. I am not a heavy drug user, I don't even smoke pot or drink alcohol. But lately, every weekend for the past 2 months, I have been doing party lines here and there. Anyway, after I found out about the drug test, I bought home testing kit for cocaine. I also drank a lot of liquid and exercised like crazy. but still, when I took the last urine test at home before the drug screening today, the negative line" was still extremely faint. On the instructions it said even if the "t" line was faint, it still means negative. But after doing a lot of research it simply meant that I don't have "that much left" in my system. I could pass for negative but to be on the safe side i decided to substitue anyway.....which turned into a dilution of clean piss with a hint of my own party piss.

i came home, did a whole bunch of research online, with no luck of course...i know that i can't do anything about it, but i would really would like to know if it'll affect results at all?


I really hope that one of yall know-it-all out there can solve my lil dilemma.

SWIM doesn't really have a lot of constructive things to say, but at least he think this is hillarious While SWIM doesn't usually laugh at people's misfortune, the whole situation is worth a good laugh :>


Anyway, AFAIK they only take a teeny-weeny part of the sample gathered (the mixture of your friend's and your own piss), and if SWIY really spilled just a little in there, there's a good chance they'll miss SWIY's urine, and it's pretty doubtful they'll do another one "just in case" SWIY swapped pee with someone

Glad I wasn't the only one to chuckle when he saw the thread title! Sorry Georgiedog!

What's important here is the length of time between last toot & the test. If its longer than say 72 hours then SWiY should have nothing to worry about, & the whole rigmarole was totally unnecessary & hopefully SWiYou'll be able to chuckle as heartily as Humanity & myself did! Cocaine (I'm guessing that is what SWiY means by 'party lines') generally passes out of one's system in 3 days, as do most stimulants. There are things that can give a false result - according to Erowid these include Kidney infection (kidney disease), Liver infection (liver disease), Diabetes, Amoxicillin (an antibiotic), & tonic water

I seriously doubt that they would be testing to see if there was someone elses urine mixed with SWiY's, unless SWiY was on parole for something really nasty, or had a known history of faking or otherwise tampering with samples, in which case they would simply watch SWiY like a hawk when giving the sample. In fact, without doing a dna analysis I'm not sure how they would be able to tell.

thnk you doodyoos so very much though! the replies were extremely helpful. SWIM bugged out a little bit too much. Did more research just now, found that test was a EMIT test, if failed, SWIM will probably and hopefully be called in for a 2nd one (GC/MS).
I know, I know, it was pretty silly of SWIM. and yes, it's a pretty funny story. Told several friends, cracked em all up pretty good.

Faint line does mean neg, not "a little bit left..."...SWIM recently took a home test, and a few lines, incl his "coke" line were faint, and he hasn't done coke in months...

Also, they don't call you to take a gc/ms test, they use the same sample...

Hopefully the test results will be negative. So much about drug testing depends on how sophisticated the test is, what the cut-off levels are etc....Private industry does not have to conform to the standard cut-off levels that are posted everywhere. Everything a private company does is governed very little by federal laws and usually even less by state law. Spacejack is right in that the GC/MS test is usually done on the same sample, if it was divided into two sample bottles. Companies that are willing to pay can have all of the adulteration and dilution tests run also. And, they are coming up with new ways to eliminate the false positives and if you do test positive usually they will do the GC/MS and you can't fool those.
