Bottom Of The Bag - How To Get It All?

Swim was wondering if anyone had some techniques for gettin the last few mg's out of a bag. Ex./ swim has what he figures to be roughly 8-10 mg of 5meo-mipt in 5 inch by 4 inch bag. Needless to say most of it is smeared onto the inside of the bag in various spots. What he was going to do was pour some ethanol into the bag and close/shake. However then it cannot be weighed in powder form so swim will not know the dry weight of the mipt. So.. how does one get the last bits of powder out of a baggie.. as opposed to the lick the finger / bag deal as one does with coke.

the solution emptied out of the bag onto a hard flat surface is allowed to evaporate until the solid remainder can be collected and weighed using an accurate milligram balance.

Or get a small paintbrush (the sort for painting model aircraft etc) and use it to gently brush the sides, collecting the powder as it falls out, so it can be weighed

If the chem in question is alcohol soluble swiy could swish 1ml of everclear around in the bag and dump it on to a plate.Let it evaporate and scrape up what remains with a razor.

Is alcohol the best option? SWIM wonders if naphtha should be used and try to recrystalize?

Man, don't do like Swim did back in the day!

So, Swim was at the bottom of a bag of Linder-esqe 5-meo dipt. Swim thought..."Aw, there's only a few Migs in there...what a nice break from the day!"

Woot! Swim poured a little grapefruit juice in the bag to cover the nasty flavor and drank it!

All that Swim can say...Swim thinks there was many more Migs in the bag than expected!

I would think that washing your bag with a little alcohol and putting on an evaporation dish away from light and breezes will do you nicely.

swim normally just dunks it in milk and swirls it around, not really advisable but RCs dont really seem to effect swim even at massive doses

SWIM cuts the seams off of the back with a sharp razor, then uses a duller one to scrape the plastic at about a 60 degree angle. This gets almost all of the powder off, which can then be tapped onto a mirror and placed in a vial. What's left after that is barely a residue. Recrystallization when done a few times was <1mg. Usually swim just tosses the bag after it is scraped clean - this saves some time vs washing and evaporating.
Note that this does not work well with 4ACODET and 2CI because the powders are really fluffy, and in the case of the former, seems to almost have static cling...
