Euphoria ?'s (oxy and hydro)

Hi all! A lab rat of SWIM's friend has a few questions. First off he is fairly experianced with hydrocodone and has a little experiance with codeine. He has no meter but he would say he has a light to moderate opiate tolerance. His first oxycodone experiance was with 25mg oral potentiated with grapefruit juice. Although he says it felt plesant like hydrocodone and started nodding later on, he puked about 4 times throughout the night. (although, everything has made him puke the first time so he wasnt discouraged). The next oxycodone experiance was 20mg insufflated the next week, NOT potentiated. Although he said it felt nice, it wasnt as intense as the oral dose, although he didnt puke.

Swim is a little dissapointed, as the oxy didnt give him virtually any euphoria. Maby he knew what to expect? Swim remembers codeine gave him alot of euphoria, he had a huge grin on his face for an hour at least. hydro and oxy of course have the lovely opiate feeling, but no euphoria.

(ok, now for swim's questions)
*Swim is planning on snorting 30 mg potentiated with GFJ. Is the oxy likely to give him any euphoria with a larger dose? (he feels like he underdosed the only other time he insufflated oxy, 20mg).

*Swim also would like to know if hydrocodone would be likely to give any euphoria in the 30+mg range?

It's possible i'm wrong here...but I don't think grapefruit juice would potentiate it if you snort it. I think the grapefruit juice helps it absorb better in your stomach - so snorting it would defeat the purpose of the grapefruit juice. I'm not sure about that though.

SWIM's pretty sure that grapefruit juice taken 30-45 minutes before ingestion works by inhibiting a liver enzyme, and has very little to do with the stomach (in fact, it lowers the stomach's pH, which would have a detrimental effect on oral opiates).

SWIM thinks if SWIY ups the dosage, he will feel euphoric with either hydro or oxy, but be careful. This is how a tolerance quickly builds.

Euphoria seems to have a lot to do with the speed of absorption into the body and eventually crossing the blood brain barrier. The faster the better. So means of administration is the key even more so than actual amounts. Of course that too is a factor, as SWIY all know you can't get high from very small amonts of any opiate. As far as hydro and oxy go it seems the fastest ways of administration might be in order as follows: Intraveinously, intramuscular, buccal, smoking,intranasally,oral (these last 2 may be interchangeable. One must just weigh the consequences of administration and try and find the fastest way to achieve the goal and still live with yourself. Please keep in mind all of these methods can be dangerous in their own way and all opiates should be taken with care and as prescribed but most lab rats that come across the valuble information on this sight may be past this level of usage. So be careful, be safe, BUT be happy by all means.

swim has some oxy which contains asprin. Swim's question. is separate the asprin so that it oxycodone can be made into a form so that it can be use intravenousally?
