Re: SWIM can't believe he's resorting to this
Hmm... not too sure about that Nicaine.
Prescription meds are there for people who need them. There's no excuse for intentionally "getting on something". SWiM uses Codeine recreationally, but only after using it medicinally for long periods of time. Noticing the efficacy reducing, he upped and upped and upped the dosage until he was well and truly hooked. It's a dodgy path, getting off on prescription drugs. I believe everyone should be entitled to their own choice, and if that means popping antihistamines, then so be it. However, I believe that if SWIY (and this goes out to everyone) feels the need to be away from reality, and even gets desperate to do so, should maybe address the source of the problem, eg boredom, apathy for life and grief. I'm only saying this as SWiM's been down the same road. In the words of Tommy Lee (Motley Crue drummer): "You know when someone is an addict when they start drinking their aftershave and smoking banana skins". Diphen's not the nicest drug on the planet, and sometimes reality would be a more pleasant option!! ~Dark Last edited by Micklemouse; 08-03-2007 at 01:48. Reason: SWiM! |

Re: SWIM can't believe he's resorting to this
Swim assures me that DXM is far better and less toxic than diphen, and it does wonders against all forms of drug withdrawal. He doesn't even need his ciggies when using dex.

Re: SWIM can't believe he's resorting to this
You might actually be wrong there ... Though the acute effects of diphenhydramine(which means during the effects of the drug) it is generally more poisonous, but not in the long term, which DXM certainly is, and DXM is also acutely toxic.

There's no doubt that DXM is more dangerous than most psychedelics, but I do think it's a fair bit safer than diphenhydramine - physically and mentally. ECL |

Re: SWIM can't believe he's resorting to this
Well swim is a former Diph popper (were talking 23 tabs a time), it's a great idea because it's like opiates, and knoks you out. They are wildly used as a OTC sleep aid. You can also get them by themselfs, instead of having to buy Ben.
Butt.. My opinion is to watch these babboys, and then maybe you wont even have to use substitues: My Heroin Hell |

Re: SWIM can't believe he's resorting to this
swiy shouldnt be looking for a new addiction but should rather adress swiy's reasons for turning to drugs... nothing wrong with using responsibly and occasionally but drugs are not a subsitute for emotions and good ole fashion fun.... well swim is done preaching
