Opinions - New Cigarettes: No. 9s and Smooths

Have you seen the Camel No. 9s or the new Marlboro Smooths ?
I've tried both and don't hate them but couldn't start smoking either as my main cig.

The Smooths smell oldly like Andes Mints and the No. 9s menthols taste more like chocolate than they do menthols. I haven't tried the No. 9 non-menthols .. I heard the cigarettes are bright pink. The No 9s come in a black and green/pink container and are definately for the younger more art savvy smoker .

Have you heard of the new packs ? What did you think of them ?

The No. 9s non-menthol cigs aren't bad, they are pretty smooth and remind swim somewhat of Turkish Silver, though they are different. Haven't tried the menthol ones. The packs are definitely cool looking, though im not so sure about the 'pink' on the cigs. Still, unless you save packs for some artistic purpose or just for the sake of collecting I don't think it should make much of a difference unless you want to be seen with them for style purposes or something.

SWIM enjoys the No 9 non menthol. She feels there is much less of a chemical - ammonia - taste to them which she enjoys and notices very much when the stores don't have them and she switches back to some sort of turkish xyz or camel reds...

i treid them both, cause they were 2 for 1, i didn't know the 9s came in non-menthol, but i found both of them rather nasty... which is generally how i feel about menthols anyway.

I've smoked them both. I currently have a pack of Smooths in my drawer

All my girlfriend will smoke is No. 9 menthols, since the day they came out -- they're very smooth, light, and give more of a minty taste than other menthols.

I love the smooths. They taste just like peppermint, and go down...smooth! No problem whatsoever with those.

Although, i do feel like i wouldn't keep the smooths as my main cigarette. I'd get sick of the peppermint after a while.

The smooths make me sick after smoking them for a while because of that disgusting taste. The No. 9s don't even give me a buzz. In my opinion both of these suck.

the marlboro smooths are ok, i get sick of the taste after a couple....my wife really likes them though (they are her main brand now).

ive not tried the no.9's yet, but camel used to put out "exotic blends" ...i absolutely loved the manderin mint...can't find them anymore though, i wonder if they stopped making them.

Word. No. 9's feel like they have no nicotine. CWM's are the best.

Menthols are hard to take for prolonged periods of time. Swim only likes them if he can alternate with regular cigarettes. For Camel cigarettes in the US swim prefers Turkish Royals, or Silvers if he doesn't want something as strong. In Europe swim always goes for the Camel Filter softpack.

Camel 9s get old fast, though the menthols not quite as fast. They tend to taste sweet like sugary candy if swim smoked a decent amount in a short time. Odd.

to swim smooths taste alot thicker than many other menthols (marb ment's, newps, and turkish jade mostly) to him and in his opinion have more of a menthol taste. if swim is drinking beer the smooth and beer taste together in his mouth is absolutely fantastic, and even better with some cannabis smoke.
