waiting patiently for GBL

SWIM has ordered shipment of GBL and is very nervous. The supplier said that it may take a little longer due to the number of packages that are shipped each day should be at a minimum because of detection. They also asked that SWIM fax over additional info for shipment. Is this normal? If SWIY has had the same situation please let SWIM know.

Where does swiy live? If its in the US, GBL is very regulated and watched by the DEA, and a GBL distributer has about the same legality as a distributer of GHB itself (federal law says GBL can only be shipped in 50 gallon industrial containers, and any violation of this is tantamount to a violation of the Controlled Substances Act). If swiy is in the US the fact that they asked swiy to fax additional information sounds quite bad, the government has been known to run fronts to ship people watched chemicals so they can bust manufacturers. Swim would get a lawyer immediately and wipe out any incriminating evidence that could be constured as intending to manufacture GHB (including browser history as swiy visited this site, and when wiping clean computer evidence use a clean sweep program so data can't be recovered).

If swiy is outside of the US, swim wouldn't really be that concerned. In many European countries, UK for example, GBL is very very loosely regulated, but swim doesn't the country by country law off the top of his head. So it really depends where swiy is located, and what country the distributer is located in.

SWIY should make their place of residence squeaky clean and keep it that way for a while. Make no mistake about it - if SWIY lives in the US and is caught importing GBL, then he is in deep doggy doo-doo.

Sounds a little suspect to me.

Engaging in correspondence whereby SWIY is led to make a declaration that could be used in court to show that he was fully aware of the illegality of the transaction or, by engaging in correspondece whereby it could be proved that he took action to conceal the true nature of his transaction will get SWIY locked up pretty damn quick.

Like radiometer says, SWIY should keep his house clean just in case.

If a supplier writes to say that they need to keep shipments to a minimum because of detection issues then SWIM's written response should ALWAYS be along the lines of an "I don't see why a shipment of alloy cleaner would have an illicit nature" - arse covering answer.

SWIM has never done this before. SWIM also says that it is a very small amount. The distributor also said that it would be shipped in a package labeled jet fuel cleaner. SWIM has not yet been notified of shipment, should SWIM cancell the order.(yes SWIM is in the USA). SWIMs dist. clearly notes that the product cannot be sold outside of the USA but did not ques the shipping address. SWIM is very scared now, please tell SWIM what to do. How can SWIM get hold of this stuff without getting into trouble??
SWIM desperatly wants some for recreational use.

Jet Fuel Cleaner? That's a new one.

You'd better practice a reason why you would need to be ordering that type of product.

Maybe it's just a weird supplier but it wouldn't hurt to be cautious.

SWIM just e-mailed his supplier asking why the authorities would be suspicious of a package coming from them. The reply was that GBL the base product is illegal in some countries. SWIMS reply was that he noticed that their site says that they do not deliver to the US and would not enjoy doing jail time for ordrering alloy cleaner. SWIM immediatly got a reply e-mail with a refund of his money. Now SWIM is very upset and angry. SWIM was waiting over a week already. Maybe SWIM was too quick to act on advice given to him

SWIM still feels very frusterated. SWIM does not know if he just messed up a good thing by getting too much info or saved himself. SWIM has not seen any GBL or GHB around in so long that SWIM was willing to make it himself. SWIM was dreaming about getting his hands on some for the past week waiting for shipment. SWIM has such good times with G. SWIM says he never would have had 2nd thoughts about ordering without comments ha read here. He doesnt know if thats a good or a bad thing. He now feels that obtaining anything is hopeless because he is too paranoid to order online now.

Not going to jail is never a bad thing. Order again and try SWIYs luck if SWIY is so upset and hell-bent to test out the efficacy of US Customs. But better also order some soap on a rope.

Look at it this way, the supplier claims he couldn't send it out straight away because he didn't want to raise suspicion - Why? If his defence was that he was shipping fuel injector cleaner then how would he explain why he didn't want to risk shipping too many units?

If anything had gone down it sounds like everyone concerned in the transaction would have incriminated themselves long before they appeared before a judge.

Whilst ignorance is no defence in the eyes of the law it sure as hell helps to at least try and appear innocent enough so that a prosecutor would have a hard time proving intent.

Much better to check out the chemistry section and learn the GABA -> GBL synthesis than try to obtain GBL in the states.

SWIM must agree. He's gotten it(GBL) a few times, but this was before he was aware of just how closely it is watched and how screwed he'd be if he got caught.

SWIM was perusing the 'net and noticed that GBL is fairly quickly found. Indicates "99.94%" GBL.

SWIM was wondering what the 0.06% is. Is this like "denatured" alcohol, where something totally noxious is added to prevent consumption? SWIM'd hate to take something deliberately made toxic.

Also SWIM'd like to know the laws in countries bordering the US (he already knows some about US law.)

Finally, SWIM'd like to know if GBL is one of the drugs that dogs are trained to detect at the border. Is this available via FOIA?

as stated in one of the above replies. be very carefull when erasing information offof the hardrive. 1, because the police computer techs will always find something on the hardrive more often then not.2, because if the hardrive is wiped clean while knowing police are coming, or while police are coming in will be considered incriminating in itself and is also a felony to destroy evidence. well in swiys situation, swim wouldnt really know what to do except to possibly find a ligitimate reason for ordering gbl in the first place. as for ordering fuel injection cleaner along with gbl, just as MrG said "messy messy messy". ordered too much at one time. swiy is in a very fucked situation.

if swiy is being investigated right now, based on the information swiy has provided... hell, they could be reading what swiy is posting in forums also, knowing swiys i.p. address and everything about swiy. especially if swiy used a credit/debit card to purchase the order. get a lawyer, and read swims topic in the "law and order" forum. the topic is, "your rights and tips in the USA"

as a US Marine one told swim, "unfuck yourself". because swiy could just be over paranoia, dont panic, just unfuck yourself by fixing the situation before the authorities do.

curious g - swiy should thank this community for saving swiy's butt. It might have arrived at swiy's door safe and sound, but next time it might not. Swim has done G for years when it was easily purchased at the local nutrition store. It was the best product in the world and swim is not happy about the whole US government regulation thing either. It's BS! Swim isn't going to jail just to get a nice, easy, clean buzz now and again. Face reality or read the Gaba synthesis. Never order online!! Swiy better have a very good reason for ordering "fuel injector cleaner" "alloy cleaner" for much more than swiy could have bought it at the local auto store for $2.50. Oh and swiy better buy a plane too to expalin "jet fuel cleaner".
