water and acetaminophen toxicity

Does drinking a bunch of water decrease the damage that acetametaphine causes?

I can't find anything on the web to back me up on this, but my assumption is probably not.

I will assume you mean acetaminophen (Tylenol), and the answer is no it does not. Thread title changed.

Note: Paracetamol is the same thing as acetaminophen.

When SWIM's friend called 911 for an overdose of tylenol, the first thing they said to do was drink a lot of water.

makes sense....tylenol kills ur liver, water will flush it out...drinking water does wonders on a persons liver...it cleans it out..
