I like ambien more than many benzos. Makes you feel ultra relaxed and you perception and thinking pattern changes but I find that I can still pay attention if needed. One time I took 20mg and felt like I was on shrooms but it was a different feeling. Buy some if they are available, just keep in mind they are more addictive than one might think.

The first time I took ambien it was sooooo wierd. I was sittin here on my computer and next thing I know its almost as if I was tripping. I saw a few wierd things, then passed out sitting here.

whats a good starting dose for ambien? I got about 60-90mg total in ambien pills also got2 pills oflorazepam. I don't do pills much but these where free.

When you ask for a good starting dose, you need to specify whether for its intended use or for abuse. Intended use is: 5-10mg will induce sleep if you try to go to bed. I don't really recommend trying to abuse it because it doesn't really lend itself to that. But if you insist- 20-40mg would make you feel a bit weird i suppose.

I feel really relaxed and mello. Sometimes wake up not remember that I cleaned my house or washed a load of laundry.

Don't drink alot of alcohol on this med.

These are ONLY my own personal findings.. Recreationally, I found
it most enjoyable laying down on my back, in a dark room [but not
completely dark, allowing some shadows to be projected on the walls],
with snack food in close proximity! I have had some of the most
fantastic experiences under these conditions.



A few times, I found myself in a dream state while awake where
environmental sounds [my air conditioner, foot steps in the hallway,
even my roommates snoring] worked into the dream (one of the most
memorable times was when I found myself in a factory, where the noises
around me were displayed as machinery).



Other times, I'd keep my eyes open and I'd see the shadows on the walls
and other things in the room grow larger and smaller in size, and
sometimes 'bend' out of shape. But when I thought about what was
happening too much, everything would snap back to normal, so you have
to really try to keep your mind clear and relaxed.



Another thing, is that I get incredibly [bottomless pit] hungry.
Alot of food has tasted way too good [especially granola bars].
Sometimes I would get slight euphoria aswell. But I built up a
tolerance fairly quickly. Addictive? Personally, not at
all. I've also had no comedown, no short or longterm withdrawl,
and no hangover in the morning.



Nowadays it does not give me as many fun effects as when I first began
taking it, but in conjunction with some other meds I take at night it
does help me get to sleep. And I'll just mention again, these
have just been my own experiences, it's possible that no one else on
earth have had similar effects.

Yes this is a fun recreational drug, however its an odd one. I'd say the feeling is a mix between other benzo's and alcohol, I can never walk straight, decent euphoria. At high doses expect not to remmember everything, if you are a teenager and live with your parents make dam sure they will be asleep or out of the house because I did alot with a few other benzos, I remmember being high then falling asleep when I woke up. But more happened I guess my parents talked to me and I was very noticable wacked out on something. The next day I went to work came home and told them I was going out, thats when they said "not after what happened last night" then I thought shit what did I do know, and asked " last night?" they replied you don't even remmember do you....nope not a clue They asked what I was high off of I told them they don't need to know. And they left it alone. Looking back at all this I just think its dam funny. Probally gonna be a long time till I can get my hands on some more though. I'd love to try this and marijuana.

first and only time i ever took ambien, i took 40mg all at once. man was that weird. it somewhat reminded me of high doses of dipenhydramine/dipenhydrinate. i was having visual delusions (not hallucinations, i find there is a destinct yet indescribable difference) as well as mental delusions. i remember i could feel it coming on, and i felt so overwhelmingly tired. i sort of stumbled over to the closest place i could lie down. the next 6 or so hours i was in a complete daze. i didn't move from my spot. i think i was sleeping about half the time. impossible to tell though.


i remember i was lying down with a plastic bin full of spaghetti (i hate spaghetti) and eating it with a large metal fork. then water started dripping on my head, which really scared me. i felt my pillow and it was all wet, along with my head. i looked up to discover that the water was dripping right off my ceiling, but not through a hole or anything, just coming right out of the ceiling. i blacked out right after my discovery.


when i woke up slightly coherant again i instantly remembered the water, but there was no water. everything was completely dry, no leak, anything. the spaghetti wasn't real either.


so weird.

first time i took ambien was 20mg and a whole lot of drinking and about
15 minutes after take it i was trying to walk down the road (about 2am)
and i had the urge to pretend i was a spinning storm and spun faster
and faster and looking up at a street light. then i couldnt
figure out which waty was up and i jumped really hard in to the street
and gashed my elbow and knee ( big scars now). i tried to stand
up and just kept stubling and then i jumped straight into the sidewalk.
those gashes took about 8 hours to finally stop bleeding and like 2
months to heal.



i went back to a buddys house and didnt remember what happened over the
next 2 hours but i was told i was bouncing off the walls and signing
songs abiout shrimp. i never went to sleep till the next
night. so i guess im saying dont spin in circles. also i
read after that drinking with ambien can slow down your heart really
low and it could sstop so dont do that either. its a fuckin fun
drug,

I love Ambien!! It helps me sleep so good w/out a hangover. Recreationally, it's pretty euphoric. You can tell when it kicks in, everything is like almost paralyzing and slower. The most I took was 40mg., though so I don't know if that's considered "recreational" enough.

swim has done this before truly crazy,the ambien gives a little life to the boring dxm trip

Ambien can be really crazy, and at much lower doses than you'd
expect... I remember when I first started taking them, I took
them exactly as prescribed and got very pleasant effects at 10
mg. Of course, that changes over time... One strange thing
about Ambien is the fact that if you take enough to get that state
similar to tripping, A) you probably won't remember it in the morning,
and B) while you're on it you have a strange urge to take more and more
and more... For that reason, it's good to have a sober person
hold them, so you don't take too much in one night, which would suck if
only because it ensures that you won't remember the fun part.



SWIM took a dose of 40 mg, then when things got weird, ended up going
through about 14 10mg tabs in one night. I know this sounds like
a lie, but SWIM woke up completely naked, UNDER his bed (which is not
that high off the ground). He couldn't find his clothes for a
long time, then as he went out to his car (which is on the street, a
good distance from his house) found them in his driveway. SWIM
was alone that night, and needless to say, he doesn't really want to
know what happened, and certainly hopes no one else does. (I am
not encouraging this sort of behavior in any way -- that is a
dangerously high does, and SWIM would not have taken it intentionally
and is very glad that nudity is the worst thing that happened, as far
as SWIM knows...).



Oh, and if you haven't figured this out, you won't have ANY fun if you
eat anything within 3-4 hours before you take them. Once they
kick in, however, eating is fun, and SWIM discovered that while he was
eating and Ambien-tripping, he could imagine that whatever he was
eating (say, plain slices of bread) was something else (say, ice cream)
and found it to be equally yummy. Maybe that only works for SWIM,
I don't know.

Very little or no effects I think my Ambien is fake. It's from an internet pharmacist, and it doesn't even seem to have much if any sedating effect either.


Can someone confirm my suspicions please?

What is the concentration? If it is 5 or 10 mg, (correct me if I'm wrong), it should be smaller than a tictac, and white.



Of course, your "internet pharmacist" could have created a sugar pill
that's the same size. Most likely your body just doesn't like
it. Drugs have different effects concerning different
people. Maybe you're just unlucky.

If you took 50mg of ambean, it would be hard not to notice them. my highest dose was 30mg, and I fell down some stairs and woke up the next morning all cut and scraped up. I didnt remember one damn thing. Was this your first time to use ambiean? Do you have another souce to compare to?

Whenever i take ambien it fucks me up but it comes with a cost, projectial vommiting. I can't explain it but almost everytime I take the stuff I vommit, I don't usually remeber a whole lot after that. If anyone knows how I can stop this let me know.

ive never heard of ambien before. is it better than codeine. i tihnk codeine is pretty good, but if you take too much, it gives u fuc ups for the next day. how would you campare it to ambien. just one person tell me its better than codeine and i will get some.

where can you get it by the way, are there any orther drugs out of this section that are worth trying, not tried any of them yet.

um, ambien and codeine are nowhere near the same. Ambien is a sleep prescription.



codeine can make you feel really good. ambien will make you feel
fucked and you will probably have blackouts and not remember what you
did. so it depends on what you want to do.



just go to your doctor and tell him you are having trouble sleeping, and he will probably prescribe it to you.

Very true, whoever is comparing codiene to ambien is comparing apples to oranges. Codiende is an opiate smslgesic,painkiller, similer to percocet, vicodin, etc... Ambien is a hypnotic sprcifically prescribed for sleep. Doesn't even work in the same part of the brain.

i love ambien and can't seem to get high off codeine. i take 3 times a
dose of codeine that my mom takes (non recreationally) and she will end
up nappin on the couch i feel nothing. so for me ambien is better, i
find 20-40 mg's is really fun take them in the middle of the day thats
when my best experiences are. however i get amazing(and very strange
dreams) when i go to bed on ambien. for a first time i would suggest
20mg's ambien is a great drug and i highly reccomend it. Ambien is the
number 1 perscribed sleep aid in america so it shouldn't be to hard get
a perscriptions for i have one and i use it almost everyday and have
been for about 3 weeks. i don't think its addictive at all i do think

i like to have fun with ambien occasionally such as when im out of weed. usually, i take one 10 mg tablet and thats good enough for me. about half the time i take 15 mg. for me it takes about 45 mins to fully kick in and it seems like the peak lasts for a WHILE (usually because i pass out when peaking). i have never done strong hallucinogens such as LSD or shrooms but every time i do ambien, i definetely have visuals, some stronger than others. i have favorite things to look at while im on it, the first thing being the ceiling. a good description of the visuals would be: this one time i was with my friend and we each took 10 mg and watched a movie with the lights off. i didnt feel anything but tired after about a half hour and i told my friend i would turn the lights on. with the light on, everything was different. i laid back on the bed and looked at the ceiling and the plaster pattern (on most walls) was melting away from the light in all directions. its very trippy if you ask me. i just had another nice experience a few days ago. i turned off the lights for about an hour and when i turned them on i looked at the door (just a wood, unpainted door) and the door became 3-D and was melting outward in random directions. i stared at the door for probably about 30 mins listening to my ipod and finally went to sleep. ambien is a lot of fun but i wouldnt want to do it... every day, maybe once or twice a month. have fun

EDIT: also, most of the time you wont remember anything. i remember i chilled with 3 of my friends and we did ambien. all i remember is falling asleep before it kicked in. all of my friends told me that i was doing crazy shit like stumbling all over the room and i couldnt manage to get myself into an aerobed that was like 5 inches off the ground while they all laughed at me. i also supposedly told my friend that his face was melting... dont remember any of it
