Could salvia be a tool for one quitting opiates?

I have done alot of reading on ibogaine and it's uses for curing opiate addiction.Salvia sounds very powerful, powerful in the way iboga sounds powerful.Would it be possible salvia could be useful for one trying to cure themselves of opiate use?Has anyone actually tried using salvia for this?
