Opinions - "I don't understand cocaine" / cocaine is overrated/ cocaine is not worth it

Dont get me wrong Ive always looked into drugs in a positive manor, trying to get the most out of each drug but with coke this just didnt happen. Now Im sure this was very good coke because an experienced friends said it was, it had a very sour taste and numbed my face for like 45 minutes. But where was the high? I did a gram inhalf aday and some points 4 lines at a time yetall i got was a very strong heart rate and talked a little more. It was quaint so I did finish it strangely enough butis this nothingness what Im paying 50 pounds a gram for? If so I stick to XTC thanks. Is it different for different people? or is coke only really a symbol of money, success, fame and glamour people love to rap themsleves in?

Every drug is different for different people. It may indeed be that coke just isn't for you. But don't give up on it after only one go

Like Hyperreal said, every drug reacts differently in different peoples
body's, so maybe it really doesn't give you much out of it. I didn't
start feeling cocaine's full effects until after a few times of trying
it. On the first time, I wasn't really sure what to expect so I think I
payed more attention to the quick heart rate and the increased talking
and moving around. I felt good, but not "euphoric" my first time. It
seemed that after maybe 3 times or so, I was totally feeling everything
that I should have been. Total Euphoria, not a thing in the world
mattered to me, I was in my own little perfect place at that time and
nobody was going to bring me down.

If it numbed your face for 45 minutes, sounds like you did a nice fat line of procaine... or lidocainewhich is an anesthetic similar to coke without the fun part. You might have imagined the stimulation, or their could have been ephidrine, a little meth or amphetamine or someother stimulant. Real coke shouldnt make you numb for much more than 5-10 minutes max. I know plenty of people that cant seem to get high off of coke.. dunno why. Maybe it doesnt release dopamine the way it should in some people.

This is funny cuz I feel the same the first time with Pot. I didnt really see the big deal.My choice was always blow. Pot I could say yay or nay to, depending on what was available. I even preferred alcohol over pot.

hey, even if you don't get the greatest high from coke, the numbing effects are definitely unique and very fun in my opinion, not to mention the whole coke experience including making the lines and snortin the shit in general. A lot of people tend to just like snorting anything and everything so coke definitely works for them.

I've tried it only about 3 times so far and never found it was great.
Someone told me I would like it better if I drink two three beers
before. Is that thrue? Can someone explain to me what am I missing here

I found that I didn't notice it's full effects until after using it a
couple of times. At first I just felt speedy and didn't notice much. I
didn't know what to expect so I think that I was anticipating it too
much and then I just missed the high.... If that makes any sense at
all. I'd say it was probably my 5th time though, I was blown away. I
was feeling like I was on top of the world. Totally euphoric. Nobody
was bringing me down. No one. I, as I'm sure many others also, have to
limit cocaine use because I know that if it was around all the time,
then I could see how easy it would be to get addicted to it.

Well it is probably just the quality of the shit you have been getting,
there are many cuts that make you feel the speediness with out
giving you the whole point of cocaine, the euphoria. SWIM felt the
awesomeness on his first try, but it probably wasn't the best one he
has felt.

perhaps you had decent product, but just don't like it.



either way....its is my opinion that anybody unimpressed with it, for
whatever reason, should just not do it. save your nose, save your

thanks to all, I think I really get a better idea now. The few times I
did it, I only felt the speedy side of it. Most probably if I do it
another few times, I'll understand better. But I really wonder,
(especially now that I know it should gives euphoria) if maybe its a
good thing I didn't experienced the good side so far. Considering its
so expensive compare to other stuff that last much longer...

There is to much thats good about it for me to write, but ya I allways
drink on it. and also I am a very shy person when Im sober if I just
drink I usually end up to drunk to comunicate
But I really like doing coke when I go out if I do some rails and go to
the club I,m not shy at all and I can carry on a conversation thats one
of my fav things about it

If you don't like coke...more powe4r to ya. Don't keep doing it. I loved the shit the first time I had it 12 years ago and will ALWAYS remember EXACTLY how good it felt. It keeps taping me on the shoulder to do more. I haven't in quite a while but the thought still remains.

I had only ever taken exstacy before trying coke fist time seemed lame nice initial high but sort of a tease aftera few more times with friends it was a lot more enjoyable. The high was more intense. Also have beeen out on the town with a few drinks its great. you start to get an alcolhol buzz then a little coke. You can go all night like that keeping a good solid buzz going.

Yeah, I do coke sometimes on my own, but I would much rather do it with
a bunch of friends. It's just so much more enjoyable hanging out with a
bunch of friends all night just doing line after line. Makes the high
so much better in my opinion.

Very very true....swim has loved it ever since he first tried coke...only thing is, is when you run out which swim is about to cause hes only got a 1/2g to last him the night...not good...but ahh well, better than nothin

I know loads of people who aren't that bothered by it. The all say that its cuz its not really a 'mind altering' drug.
