Any Siouxsie and the Banshees fans here?
Beautiful and ethereal or loud punk and dark their music can encompass soooo many genres and moods. No other band like them before or sense. They were punk and then they defined goth yet went beyond it.Truly an amazing band and a leader singer I'd absolutely love to uh submit to

Hell yeah. Quality stuff. For some reason I got into them after I started listening to the Cure a lot.

Re: Any Siouxsie and the Banshees fans here?
Totally! I'm what you'd call an "Elder Goth" (ie: a goth above 25). I love all the old-school goth, deathrock, and industrial stuff: Bauhaus, Cure, Siouxsie, Alien Sex Fiend, Front242, etc. I also have a soft spot for the Misfits; though they don't qualify as goth, most goths I know can't help but love them.
If you like that stuff, there are a few lesser-known newer bands I recommend: The Prids: www.theprids.com Celebration: www.myspace.com/celebrationcelebration CTRL: http://www.myspace.com/ctrl ECL |

Re: Any Siouxsie and the Banshees fans here?
I fell out of my chair when I read about the verbal smackdown Siouxsie Sioux delivered to Paris Hilton. Something about "take that vapid conversation elsewhere." She also called her a silly cow, but I think that was on a different occasion.
Don't mess with an OG punk rocker. ![]() ECL |
