Valium + Drug Tests
Can anyone tell me how long valium takes to get out of your system.

If swim remembers right Diazepam (Valium) has a very long half life..So it stays in your system longer than most benzo's. Swim remembers reading somewhere that benzo's can stay in your system from 1-40 days. Swim would think that Valium would be on the higher end of the scale... Swim just did a quick search and it says that Valium can be detected in urine for 7-10 days from a single use..

As the person above me said, valium does indeed have a very long half life. Wikipedia says that it's half life is 20-100 hours!

I've seen sites that say it can be detected for up to 30 days, and with a half life that long, I could see that happening with a large enough dose.
