Question about different MDMA

Right, SWIM has had two quite different experiences on MDMA, this is MDMA as a powder, which SWIM snorted.
The first time the MDMA was orangey brown and crystal like in quality, after having a couple of lines, the experience was breahtaking, having only had coke (which SWIM thought was overrated) and pills which had never amde him feel like this. SWIM felt the happiest he ever had felt an spent a fair few hours rolling around on the floor so content being in his own skin that he couldn't believe it. Topping up every now and again sustained this for about 7 hours.

SWIM's second experience was when the MDMA came almost as a rock, though it crumbled easily, it was whitish brown in colour, and looked more like pills than the previous MDMA SWIM had had. Anyway, a couple of lines of this did next to nothing, a couple more and SWIM started to feel a bit of a "high" similar to a good ectsacy pill, but nothing more, and it went away quite quickly.

So SWIM's question is, what do you think the difference was... was the second MDMA of a lower quality, cut worse and the first one more pure.
or was the second one more pure, and the first MDMA cut with something else - perhaps Ket - would explain why we were rolling on the floor not really wanting to move for ages.

The second might not have been MDMA at all. There are many, many other kinds of drugs which will give a speedy-effect similar to MDMA, and may even produce mild euphoria, but are not actually MDMA or even MDA or another similar analogue. It's often hard to tell whether drugs giving this mediocre effect are actually just low-doses of MDMA, or another undesired substance entirely. This is why it's good practice to buy a testing kit and test SWIY's pills before ingesting them. You will not be able to tell the purity of the pills, but at least you know that there's MDMA - and hopefully only MDMA - in SWIY's pills before SWIY takes them.

Doing a Marquis Reagent Test will give you an idea of purity, although not quantity. Some more advanced testing kits will screen for a variety of substance like DXM, speed, 2C-B and so on. You can Google to find one-- Dutch headshops would be a good place to look.

Thay are not very accuarate but much better than nothing.
