Light Auras
SWIM has always seen an aura of sharded light fractals, around light sources since he began tripping.
Now, sometimes when he blinks, every light source will turn into a magnificient display. It's always accidental, but seems to occur more frequently if he is sleep deprived, upon waking. When he blinks a second time, they return to normal. It's either a wavy-spiderweb, sharp-spiderweb, or a small blurry bubble. SWIM was just wondering, if auras are refered to (a), or (b/c/d), or all 4. And does anyone else notice auras b/c/d?

Re: Light Auras
swim always sees kind of a halo of light surrounding light sources when tripping of dxm or when "rolling" on bzp. but nothing as detailed at those pictures, just kind of a fuzzy looking halo like you get when you swim (no pun intended) too much in a pool with your eyes open.

Re: Light Auras
Yeah, light "A" would be the halo.

Re: Light Auras
My friend Swim tells me that he often sees auras on low-dose diphenhydramine trips. He stays away from anticholinergics on princple, but occasionally takes a little too much Benadryl and has one anyway. When such happens, he often sees halos around people and objects that look a whole lot like Kirlian Auras.
He's not sure what to make of them, if anything, but they sure are cool. ECL |

Re: Light Auras
BUMP. I want to re-ask if no one else has seen these auras? I find it very strange that only SWIM has witnessed them, and why only him.
He also sees his unique auras if raindrops fall into his eyes or when he awakes from sleep. |

Re: Light Auras
Bongo has seen auras (sans drugs) and can do so at will. A little trick he learned many years ago. He can also change the readings on a bio-feedback monitor at will - much to the confusion of others.
I wouldn't be too concerned if it bothers you. You know how you can see colors when you close your eyes? Using averted (look it up) vision, look at a friend so you can see the edges of his/her head and have them close their eyes. Look to see if the colour around them changes and say them out loud as you see a change. It's a fine party-trick. Scare your friends! |
