Patient Monitor discussion

SWIM happened to stumble upon a GE Dash 3000 Patient Monitor. He was wondering if any SWIY has any free software that would allow SWIM to utilize the ethernet port on the Dash and transfer his vitals from the monitor to his PC. Please help!!

I think you're just going to have to go to the manufacturers website, pretend to be a doctor, and buy the software if theres any at all.

Re: GE Dash 3000 Patient Monitor

Interesting! I suspect the software would not be found trougha torrent network. It's worth the shot anyway.

Is SWIY planning to use this to compare data between various substances? This would be mighty interesting in the field of research chemicals and exotic ethnobotanicals.

I know what I want for my birthday! To bad they are that expensive.

When I read this I get visions of data collection of the physical effects of certain substances on Drugs Forum members. Ahhh.

SWIM uses it for exactly that! He has a collection of his vital signs while on certain substances, and would gladly post them for any SWIY who would like to see the body's response to certain substances. The reason SWIM wants an application to network his monitor is because SWIM has to manually type all of his vital signs into his PC after his experience... very boring.

Re: GE Dash 3000 Patient Monitor

Please add this data to "[insert drug here] basics" stickies you find at the top of every drug forum. i.e. If you have SWIY's biodata for say cocaine, then add that data to Cocaine Basics
Please also include the data under normal conditions, so that we can see SWIY's heart rate while under the influence of drug X compared to SWIY's heart rate while not under the influence of drug X.

Re: GE Dash 3000 Patient Monitor

Nice! Please add the meaning to the abreviations to your future reports:
heart rate (HR)
blood pressure (BP)
respiration rate (RR)
peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2)

If anyone else has a patient monitor, please add your reports as well. This is very interesting. Especially in the field of research chemicals.
