People looking very strange whilst on ketamine

SWIM has noticed recently that whilst on high doses of K (particularly when emerging from a K Hole) that the people he is with take on very strange appearances - not that they become ugly, but more they provoke a kind of "what-the-fuck-are-you??" kind of mental response when he looks at them for more than a few seconds. SWIM's theory as to why this happens is that K takes away his familiarity with the human form, so that instead of seeing other people and recognizing you all instantly as fellow humans, he sees you as the strange looking objects that you (and me) actually are. SWIM was just wondering if anybody else has noticed this? None of the people he regularly takes K with have.

The changing faces phenomena is common to most psychedelics and dissociatives. Rather like a portrait by Pablo Picasso - where the face is looking straight ahead and as a profile in the same instant. This is why a novice will often let out a loud shout when they first encounter the common mirror in the bathroom.

SWIM remembers when he was "warned" not to look at him/herself in the mirror while on mushrooms because his/her eyes and nose and mouth would shift around his/her face... of course SWIM was curious and went to check the rumour out. Alas, it was just SWIM looking back at him/herself with a dumbfounded look.

On disassociatives SWIM has had his friend bear a very striking physical resemblance/aura as that of his/her dead friend. It was eerie, and beautiful.

SWIF never found much problems with the Mirror, SWIF found it exciting to see himself but not really scary or massively hallucenogenic. Aww well plenty of time to keep trying

Ahh the mirror..... SWIM's first encounter with a bathroom with big mirrors on either side (while on acid) was a little bit daunting, but ever since then swim has found them extreamly funny....especially with cubensis mushrooms. Swim has been escorted from bathrooms in tears of laughter on more than one occasion!
Wish bathrooms were always that funny....

last time SWIM did K, his friends head got about as big as the room. Thats never happened before. SWIM has also told this person that he's insane while on Ketamine so i agree with you.

Bathroom mirror, SWIM has had plenty of weird experiences there
SWIM remembers many times in which he looked at himself in bathroom mirror, often a few hours after midnight. SWIM looks very disoriented and confused while on K, it was really hard for SWIM to look at his eyes for some reason, maybe it seems to be scary.

While on meth SWIM looks like a natural born killer. On benzos SWIM can't exactly remember how he did look like, but as far as he remembers he looks like he is really tired but every face muscle seems to be very relaxed / showing no feelings.

But one of SWIM friends done K and didn't look confused at all, although the things that he done show that he was confused while coming down.

yes this is very common in swim k parties .... people looking like stick men with long legs and arms and some times lookin like swim arms or legs are dangling off . weird looking features on face too .. not like hallucnating .. seems the same ecah time... amazin sight to say the least .,.,, i heard . and also feelin waves flowing through swim and feeling energy in the room and sometimes occupying the same space as someone else in the room where they push each other apart before enetering back into life as we know it (matter and objects) ... swim is having the most amazingv experiences in his whole life

Yep, it's great stuff isn't it. SWIM still remembers his first ever K-Hole (oddly enough), and still frankly has difficulty believing such things are possible to experience - flying at the speed of light through a galaxy of four dimensional tesseracts, which in an instant melts into a pulsating mass of colour and tactile feeling, in which time completely breaks down, twists around itself and looses all meaning. on the K hole twilight everithing looks weird, the third dimension folds in 2 or 4 ones -just a way to say it- so people sometimes looks like satndup photos or collapsing structures. how weird is K´s cold death-close view of the world.
in teh other hand, people on K look really bad isf you are sober, don´t they? SWIM tries not to remember that when he´s on, since one could feel really ashamed of ones look.

Spacy look hinting at an overall dullness and lack of comprehension, a wide, dim and buggy smile, a sense of "touchiness" as they struggle to maintain balance without looking like they're trying too hard and the tell tale one closed eye because K makes one see double. SWIM had a girlfriend once that game a pirate's eye patch to wear for K-trips when he wanted to write.

Every time SWIMs mate does some chemical, SWIM turns into a different entitiy, last time he was on K SWIM became a lion, and on Acid SWIM was the Devil (that's fair enough though SWIM has a particularly evil beard). SWIM himself doesn't tend to see much weirdness in people, probably because they're all pretty weird anyways.
