Best films to watch on Ecstasy

Planet Earth seems like the perfect program to watch, tho i agree it can be enjoyed at any time.

Swim does not usualy watch films on E's, but the idea is a good one, can imagine something like the house of flying daggers would go down extremely well

lol double vision can be a bit of a problem when trying to watch a movie. Swim "tried" to watch human traffic when he was wrecked from E and ket. The ket gave him so much double vision, the more he tried to concerntrate, the worse the double vision got. eventually he gave up and put some music and visualisations on and took a trip to the k-hole.

My pet Centipede never watched a movie while rolling but he imagines a rave movie like " A Midsummer nights rave " would do justice.That or just watch Fantasia over and over again.

Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas might also be alotta fun to watch.

SWIM has watched 28 days later on the E ..and F*cking hell it was to intense for SWIM and his friend.. the opening scene with the animal testing lab just had *them* both glued, and then when the infected chimp starts banging on the glass cage both SWIM and his friend seemed as if they were about to pass out it was so intense... and then theres the rest of the film...
WATCH IT!! haha

highly recomended, it becomes far more surreal, far more intense, far more just, wow.

I think if swim was rolling to that movie he'd bite off his fingers while chewing his nails... Swiy is nuts lol. Prolly the last thing anyone would wanna watch while rolling. Swim watched king kong while rolling and it was so unbearably bad that swim's trip started getting bad.

TrainSpotting would be great for SWIY to watch whilst on a roll. Also.....Blade. Lots of action and flashing lights, plus the tune at the start is a killer

Not everyone want's to jump about all over the place and start going mad (like SWIM at a decent rave for example )

People can do both, on ecstacy it all depends on how far one throws oneself into the 'moment' -if one throws oneself into the movie, it will probably be one of the best movies they had ever seen, the same as if one throws oneself into the music at a rave or gig (as SWIM plans on doing this november), those musical settings are just amazing...

SwiF would be all over the place. He would keep skipping music, so watching a movie is less probable, unless on the comedown and the day after.

my favorite movies to watch are superhero movies... when you're in that state, you can imagine you being able to do those things and the special FX are awesome visuals

Superman Returns was fun as hell

Daredevil: directors cut was decent specially when you see how he sees the world through his sonar vision.

Batman Begins i watched on a come down and something about the music and vibe was amazing.

I watched others but cant remember them now


I also like watching movies with sexy girls and sexy themes

American Pie: The Naked Mile was greeeat. but it may lead to porn watching because of how horny you'll get lol

i watched idiocracy and it was trippy as hell. i imagined if that happened to me and if i was in that world with all those stupid people lol and mya rudolph was looking good

Not necissarily a film, but a min-series: band of brothers.

SWIM and his E-buddy =P watched a couple of good ones (they are all good)... it was so intense, felt a come up almost every scene, was just so emotionally intense, almost unbearably great, it was truely epic

SWIM is thinking of a film in the background for a night with Molly and friends he will be hosting. He only has one Xbox360 so the visualizer will be going, but there is another large TV in another room upstairs. SWIM was thinking either 'Planet Earth' which is esseintally a copilation of images taken from all over the world set to chill music so people can still chat. Or the new speed racer movie with the sound muted because it is supposed to be so bright and colourfull, the sky is purple in it.

Just watched "Layer Cake" as suggested. Very good movie. Thanks for the suggestion. Reminds me of "Trainspotting" meets "Rocknrolla"
Still stand by "Groove" as the best film depiction of rolling and the club scene.

I love these threads they always provide some good suggestions. Thanks to DF I have discovered some great movies and music I may have overlooked.

The Devil is an admirer of Alejandro Jodorowsky films, El Topo, The Holy Mountain, Santa Sangre while rolling can be amasing, very psychological. The atmosphere that D. Lynch create in its films is also interesting.

While I have no suggestions I never thought of this... the one episode about the robot war and the history would be too intense though the others (especially the one about the glitched building? I'm now planning this for the next time my puppy rolls.
