Re: Adderall making swim sick!
How long has swiy been taking the prescribed meds? A page ( http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic2/ziprasidone_ad.htm)
says this about the side effects of Geodon:
Quote:
Approximately 6.5% (18/279) of ziprasidone-treated patients in short-term, placebocontrolled studies discontinued treatment due to an adverse event, compared with about 3.7% (5/136) on placebo. The most common events associated with dropout in the ziprasidone-treated patients were akathisia, anxiety, depression, dizziness, dystonia, rash and vomiting, with 2 dropouts for each of these events among ziprasidone patients (1%) compared to one placebo patient each for dystonia and rash (1%) and no placebo patients for the remaining adverse events.
...
Pharmacodynamic Interactions
1. Ziprasidone should not be used with any drug that prolongs the QT interval (see CONTRAINDICATIONS ).
2. Given the primary CNS effects of ziprasidone, caution should be used when it is taken in combination with other centrally acting drugs.
3. Because of its potential for inducing hypotension, ziprasidone may enhance the effects of certain antihypertensive agents.
4. Ziprasidone may antagonize the effects of levodopa and dopamine agonists.

There is also a nice page to check drug interactions found here: http://www.drugdigest.org/DD/Interaction/ChooseDrugs
When I looked up the interactions between the three drugs, I found only this:
Quote:
FLUOXETINE (in Prozac) may interact with AMPHETAMINE (in Adderall)
Although the cause of this potential interaction is not clearly understood, fluoxetine may increase the effects of amphetamine. This could cause an increase in side effects including irritability and depression, restlessness, and anxiety. Other more serious side effects include an increase in blood pressure, a rapid heart beat, and an abnormal heart rhythm. If fluoxetine and amphetamine are used together, your doctor may want to monitor you closely for side effects and adjust the dose of either drug if needed. Discuss this potential interaction with your healthcare provider at your next appointment, or sooner if you think you are having problems.
This interaction is poorly documented and is considered moderate in severity.

FLUOXETINE (in Prozac) may interact with DEXTROAMPHETAMINE (in Adderall)
Although the cause of this potential interaction is not clearly understood, fluoxetine may increase the effects of dextroamphetamine. This could cause an increase in side effects including irritability and depression, restlessness, and anxiety. Other more serious side effects include an increase in blood pressure, a rapid heart beat, and an abnormal heart rhythm. If fluoxetine and dextroamphetamine are used together, your doctor may want to monitor you closely for side effects and adjust the dose of either drug if needed.
