Salvia Tea?

can salvia be made into a tea...?

has anybody you dont know tried this?

Q thinks that he might have tried it once in a party [mixed with 2ci] , but his memory of the event is quiet blurry [as he traveled to a couple of strange dimentions shortly afterwards...

Q didn't really remember the event till his friend K asked him after he told K that he had just tried sally for the first time today... and K was like, "no way! I thought that tea at the Vaca Flaca party had salvia" and now Q is really fkin confused and he asked me to ask you guys about it.

Re: Salvia Tea?

It can be made into tea, but SWIM doesn't think it would work as well - SWIM believes salvinorin-a is metabolized by the body within 2 or 3 minutes, so swiy would have to consume a lot. is swim right, or could someone correct him?

Re: Salvia Tea?

Swim has never made a tea but it would probably not work because, as stated above, salvinorin-A is essentialy deactivated by the gastrointestinal system. Which is why quid's and tincture's are held in the mouth as long as possible to allow absorbtion through oral mucosa.

Re: Salvia Tea?

SWIM has tried salvia tea several times and was surprised to find it actually gave a mellow calming effect. The same effect is still present after extracting salvinorin A from the leaves, so if you have got some left-overs from an extraction, try it.

Now that certainly is interesting. What other compounds / alkaloids exist in Salvia that could potentially contribute to psychoactive effects?

hmm... that sounds about right... When Q drank the tea he had a very intense yet unusually calm and cool experience where he teleported himself to several far away places, a couple of cities and a forest... the tea contained some 2ci as well... so that might have given it a boost...

No visuals?
Swim was looking for a prolonged trip into the unknown of Sally Land.
