TEK - SWIM burned his cocaine and it turned into a black sticky liquid, suggestions?

short story: swim flaked and left it under a heat lamp (normal drying process about 5 minutes) waaaaay to long and it turned into a black tacky, tar-like substance. can SWIM do anything with this leftover substance?

Sounds like this was a salt of cocaine such as a hydrochloride? If so the molecule dissasociated and, in effect, was boiled in a strong acid medium. The fact this discolored (black) says the molecule that is cocaine was at least partially decomposed.

Putting it back together again would be out of the question. The real question is how much cocaine remains. Without sophisticated apparatus this can't be found out. Has SWIM ever heard of free-basing? This might be the only viable option to <koff! koff!> recover what's left in a usable form.
